This number has been calling me for the past several days. When I try to call back it says that it is a restricted number and will not answer.

i recieved a call from them, they never said it was a debit collection agency, and wanted me to verfy my address i said heck no i'm not verfying anything for you, how do i know you are not trying to steal my info some how. they had an old address but still. he had a very thick accient of a middle eastern person. and said that he had someone waiting on another line to speak with me.

Whomever is calling from this number is harrassing me and I plan on filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They called 3 times within 4 hours and the two subsequent times blocked the number from being shown on the caller ID. When I called the number back that showed up the first time, I received a busy signal and could not get through. I answered the phone on the third call and they hung up on me.

These people keep calling they have a heavy accent.They said that they were calling to confirm a deposit i received into my account from a payday loan. Its a complete Scam!!!they had my information for someway. To everyone be careful entering your information online. And i tried calling back and the number is a non working number

Received a call fro this number and fot a message saying "authorization failed" when I called it back.  ???

Recv'd call yesterday & today, no msg left, when try calling the # back only get a busy signal....not sure who's calling.

these people are calling my job and never leave a call back number. wtf? they also left another number. 975-955-1292

This person called my office, and they sounded like they were calling from India.  They left a message to call them it was a legal matter.  It is Illegal to call people at their office PERIOD.

Got a call from a man with heavy middle eastern accent who said his name was "Officer" Daniel White.  He was looking for an employee who no longer works here but he gave a number --305-600-4799--for her to call back and said it was an emergency and that someone had filed a claim against her.  Sounds like a SCAM people so beware!!!

Got a call from this number. I didn't pickup. No message left.

I keep getting calls from this number. When I answered today, I was asked to verify the last 4 of my SSN and when I asked who they were, they told me what I thought was Acid Assistance. They had such a heavy accent. Then I was told that they had a long distance call for me then they hung up on me. I know that previous posts say that these people are debt collectors but legally they HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE A DEBT COLLECTOR!!! These people have NOT said that to me, when I questioned who they were they hung up on me. Why would a debt collector hang up on someone they want money from???

This 281 number is invalid (spoofed number). I know because I've tried calling back.
Based on the hints above and past experience (I've been contacted by AACC and another collection agency before), I called AACC and told them my personal phone number, and they gave me a different person's name. I told them they got the wrong number, and they agreed to stop calling.

So yea.. it is probably from them. Call them and ask them to remove you.

Just got a call from this number. It was a foreign guy wanting me to verify my info. I refused. I told him that it doesn't work that way. He cut me off and said listen listen listen. I told him that he was not going to order me to listen. He said that if I didn't like it, I could hang up and I did.

got a call today for middle eastern sounding guy.  asked for my x-wife. i told him he had the wrong number and hung up immediately.

Called me twice once yesterday and once today, spoke to a woman with a middle eastern accent asked for some guy I never heard of, told her that I didn't know who that was and that she reached the phone of Amanda. She asked me what my full name was and I told her that I'm not giving my name out to people I don't know. She said she thinks she may of called the wrong number, I said no s*** and hung up. Didn't answer the call from today.

Looks to me like a collection company or a scam

Just got a called from this number answered it, no one spoke. Called it back and got a recording saying it was a non- working number.
