I received a text saying I'd won $1000 gift card to best buy, listing a URL to claim it. It's clearly a scam.

Incidentally, I forwarded the "you have won" text to 7726 and received an immediate reply from Verizon saying thank you. So, do it, you all. Forward spam text to 7726.

Let's sue these spammers and get that $1000 each, for real!

"Your entry has won! Go to bestbuybr.........com (I left out full address) and enter pin 1122 to claim your $1000 Best Buy gift card! Must claim by 11/30/2012."

Forward the text to 7726:
Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.
