If you sell anything on craigslist, always insist on "Cash only, local only."  If you cannot meet the buyer face to face, or if they talk about Western Union or Paypal, it is definitely a scam!

i actually almost fell for this crap. this person even sent me a check via fedex and i was asking for 150 dollars for my craigslist item and the check was for 2000. they said to cash it and then send the remaining balance via western union to the mover. his name is

so if anyone is in that area turn him into the cops. the check he sends is from citibank claiming to be written from Toastmasters incorporated and i called citibank and they verified the account number and name and address of toastmasters international. so this person did there homework.

I got an email from someone claiming to be Kelly Rowland with an email address of: gbolike.rowland36@gmail.com. and this phone number.  They were responding to my ad on Craiglist. They claimed to be deaf and wanted to send me a certified cashier's check and send their 'mover' to pick up the merchandise. I emailed them back, told them I only accept cash.

This is definitely a scam! Person is reportedly deaf leaving you to deal with their "secretary" and saying they will send movers to come pick up the merchandise after a cashiers check is delivered. Area code is from Texas.

Craiglist SCAM. Wants to send cashiers check and have merchandise picked up by his mover. Number is located in Texas. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!
