I get 2 or 3 calls a day from this number.  It says it's from TX.  I don't answer.  Playing games with them may not be a bad idea.

They keep calling here trying to send my husband playboy magazines I have told them twice to stop calling and that he is not getting those nasty magazine.

They call all the time on the hour and you answer it and they hang up.

Started getting calls from this # a day or two ago.  Haven't answered yet. Caller ID only says Houston, TX.  Never leave message.  How can we rid ourselves of these ***hole scumbags?

they call constantly. 2-3 X a day - - but not every day - - it's like they skip a day or two then start back up. no one EVER responds to me tho I can tell someone is on the other end. very annoying.

They call my home #2-3 times a day (at least 3-4 days out of the week). No one ever speaks to me. I, too, am on no-call list... I have no idea why because it obviously doesn't work.

Unknown caller.  Calling two times a day for a week.  Don't answer, but annoying.  Am on no-call list, but it doesn't seem to help with these calls.

When they call just have fun with them..its a freebie!  Use some ridiculous voice, talk about you cat..drive em nuts-LOL-they hang up sooner or later!

These darn people call morning, noon and night. Once I just picked it up and didn't say anything and turned up the T.V really loud. My husband just answered a call from them and, yelled at them, "Why are always calling HERE." Their reply was Is Mary there.  There was silence and then my husband hung up on them.  

Just started receiving calls from this number today.  So far they have called twice.  Caller ID just gave the phone number and HOUSTON, TX.  Both calls rang 7 or 8 times which is a lot for these types of calls.  I just will not pick up.  I turn off the answering machine when I am at home.  My answering machine will turn on after 10 rings.  When I am home, if the caller is persistent, at 5 or 6 rings I will turn on the answering machine for a second and then turn it back off again.  I will do this every 5 rings or so.  They can continue ringing until hell freezes over.

This number calls every day and multiple times.  If I do not answer, they leave no message.  Yesterday, they asked for me by first name.  When I said, "this is Maggie", they hung up.  I called the number back to ask the to stop calling me and the number does not work.  They called again today.

This works for unwanted calls pick up the call but don't say anything.  Put the phone down & wait until they hang up.  They usually do not call back if they do buy ear plugs & a shrill whistle.

I got a call from this number on my day off, I was trying to sleep in and they woke me up. A man told me he wanted to confirm my new subscription to 'Cat Fancy' magazine, he asked me if I had a pen handy to write down some confirmation information. I told him he just woke me up on my day off and that I didn't want to get out of bed, he then said "Oh, take your time, I get paid by the hour" then laughed. I was starting to get suspicious at that point, I mean how f****ng rude, terrible customer service. However, I obliged. He told me some order# and that it would be $45 for a 3 year subscription. Then he handed his phone over to his "supervisor" who wanted to confirm my address, he knew what my address was which is kind of freaky. Then he asked me how I was going to pay. Up until then they has made it sound like they were only confirming that I had indeed renewed my subscription (which my grandmother had done for my Christmas present). So I instantly said "Ohhhhh, this is a scam!" The "Supervisor" said "No Ma'am..." I cut him off and said "If this were real then you would already have on file that this subscription has already been renewed!" They then hung up on me, and when I tried to call the number back, an automated message told me that "the # or code you have dialed is incorrect"

They called today asking for Marzena Wilson - told them wrong number.  This number has been calling me for weeks on end.  I have no idea who Marzena Wilson is nor do I care.  Annoyed!

Thanks to caller ID and this site, I have never picked up the phone when this number calls. I recently bought a subscription through Publishers Clearing House and that most likely triggered these calls. The timing fits. Even though I have not answered these calls, I keep getting them 4 or 5 times daily, sometimes 3 minutes apart. Very annoying!

Got a call from "Cat Fancy" offering a reduced subscription rate and asking for my address.

That reaction says it all.

This company is definitely a scam.  They wanted to sell me a subscription to Shutterbug for less than $2 an issue; when I said to send me an email, the woman who called slammed down the call.

This may be a scam.  They are looking for my son to renew his Popular Science magazine.  The clues are: UNKNOWN NAME, attempting to renew a recent subscription, not having the subscription number on file, and calling twice from different numbers (205-387-2159).  More on this when I finishing researching ...

I don't know what's funnier, they call every hour or that you have a subscription to tv guide???

Posting here will do nothing to stop the calls.

This number comes up on the caller ID as Not Available. We don't even bother to pick up the phone.

I have caller ID.  Received 7 calls from this number just today alone.  Calls every hour. Ignored each call.
