This guy is a Harasser and needs to be put under the jail. People work too hard for him to be trying to trick people out of their hard earned money, get a job like everyone else and stop trying to scam people, and for u to be calling peoples jobs is nothing to play with.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010  FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

WASHINGTON ? The Internal Revenue Service today warned consumers about a sophisticated phone scam targeting taxpayers, including recent immigrants, throughout the country.

Victims are told they owe money to the IRS and it must be paid promptly through a pre-loaded debit card or wire transfer. If the victim refuses to cooperate, they are then threatened with arrest, deportation or suspension of a business or driver?s license. In many cases, the caller becomes hostile and insulting.

?This scam has hit taxpayers in nearly every state in the country.  We want to educate taxpayers so they can help protect themselves.  Rest assured, we do not and will not ask for credit card numbers over the phone, nor request a pre-paid debit card or wire transfer,? says IRS Acting Commissioner Danny Werfel. ?If someone unexpectedly calls claiming to be from the IRS and threatens police arrest, deportation or license revocation if you don?t pay immediately, that is a sign that it really isn?t the IRS calling.? Werfel noted that the first IRS contact with taxpayers on a tax issue is likely to occur via mail
Other characteristics of this scam include:
Scammers use fake names and IRS badge numbers. They generally use common names and surnames to identify themselves.
Scammers may be able to recite the last four digits of a victim?s Social Security Number.
Scammers spoof the IRS toll-free number on caller ID to make it appear that it?s the IRS calling.
Scammers sometimes send bogus IRS emails to some victims to support their bogus calls.
Victims hear background noise of other calls being conducted to mimic a call site.
After threatening victims with jail time or driver?s license revocation, scammers hang up and others soon call back pretending to be from the local police or DMV, and the caller ID supports their claim.
If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, here?s what you should do:
If you know you owe taxes or you think you might owe taxes, call the IRS at 1.800.829.1040. The IRS employees at that line can help you with a payment issue ? if there really is such an issue.
If you know you don?t owe taxes or have no reason to think that you owe any taxes (for example, you?ve never received a bill or the caller made some bogus threats as described above), then call and report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 1.800.366.4484.
If you?ve been targeted by this scam, you should also contact the Federal Trade Commission and use their ?FTC Complaint Assistant? at FTC.gov.  Please add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments of your complaint.
Taxpayers should be aware that there are other unrelated scams (such as a lottery sweepstakes) and solicitations (such as debt relief) that fraudulently claim to be from the IRS.
The IRS encourages taxpayers to be vigilant against phone and email scams that use the IRS as a lure. The IRS does not initiate contact with taxpayers by email to request personal or financial information.  This includes any type of electronic communication, such as text messages and social media channels. The IRS also does not ask for PINs, passwords or similar confidential access information for credit card, bank or other financial accounts. Recipients should not open any attachments or click on any links contained in the message. Instead, forward the e-mail to phishing@irs.gov.

More information on how to report phishing scams involving the IRS is available on the genuine IRS website, IRS.gov.

"Officer Brown" aka "Mark Davis" aka "James" aka "Alan" calls repeatedly to every line in our building that he can think of. He has yelled and cursed at employees where we work. He claims to look for the same person over and over. This guy is a bad guy! Who has the time to be harassing people? Get a real job "Officer Brown".  He also says that he will "keep calling until the person is fired".  We've got the police involved but there must be something more that can be done!!! This guy needs to get a life and a real job!

"Officer Brown" has called to harass an employee.  After being confronted and challenged on his law enforcement credentials, he attempted to tie up our business telephone lines with repeated calls.  Not only is he annoying but he has been very disrespectful and vulgar with staff.  Police reports have been made and complaints filed with telphone carriers.

You won't investigate anything. You're condemned to an excuse for a job that involves committing crimes all day long on the phone because you're too much of a coward to use a gun. Look around at the urine-soaked boiler room you "work" in, let it sink into your tiny brain. Better hope the next real person you call hasn't read bout your filthy scam on here or someplace else.

A man who referred to himself as "Officer Brown" called my work number and left a voicemail on my office phone wanting me to "verify" my social security number regarding a complaint against me. I called these fools back and to my surprise "Officer Brown" actually answered the phone. I told him I didn't know who in the f*** he thought he was but he is never to call me again. I also made him aware that this 281-978-6826 number has now been reported to the Ohio Attorney General and that he is more than welcome to contact my lawyer and I gave him that number as well. These guys are clowns. They don't scare me and don't let them scare you either! Oh, and he still wouldn't give me the name of his company... Idiots I tell you.

i recv;d a call saying I took out a cash advance and use the company name by fraud.  I asked company name address and Mr. Adam Brown didn't want to give it.  I called back answering machine says James Anderson.  I informed them I have no loan or ever used that company. The Offier as he calls himself tried to say he was gonna call my manager and when I asked for them to send documentation he said it was already sent and he would not send it again.  I asked the address again and the officer got upset and hung up.
