I'm not complaining because I actually do owe money. That said- I haven't had the privilege of an intelligent conversation with anyone from the firm so I just ignore their calls. On the Samsung you can use the "block" function.

This number is part of ARC or ARO, NDR. They are a collection agency with offices all over Canada, If you tell one office not to call they call from a different number so the no contact order does not stand, this is how scum work, but if you pay the amount of your original debt without contacting these a***oles they don't get paid, they only get their commission if they get the money from you. by paying the company you owe money to the original amout then there is nothing they can do and it has to come off your credit rating

keep calling about Koodoo unpaid bill.  Never have had Koodoo.  Now they say a collection agency is going to take legal action, for what? Not me!

it is illegal for debt collectors to call at that time a day, contact your local consumer protection agency. You may have to call the number on the message left by the debt collectors to get a fax number or mailing address to send them a letter to stop calling you. Even if you did owe money to a creditor it is still illegal for collection agencies to call before 9AM in the province I'm in, not sure about Ontario though. Good Luck once they think they(collection agencies) have a working number for whom they are looking for they are like a bit bull with a stake.

What Jim said - exactly. Do not pick up the call. Do not call them back. They do not care if it is not your debt - even if you can prove it's not your debt. But after you call to explain, they know the number is good, so you get 5-6 calls a day instead of a few a week. And you keep blocking numbers and they come up with new ones to get past the blocks. Some are 888 or 800 numbers, some are 289, 250, 716, 613 and on and on. I have over 40 blocked numbers and only 2 belong to telemarketers.They are not in any way accepting that they may have made a mistake or that the person moved. Total complete scumbags that do not obey the laws. And no, the government will not help either.

This number calls me every day, once on my personal phone and then 2 min later they will call me on my work phone - NO idea HOW they got my work phone number because the phone is registered to a different name (a guys name of that) and I only give out my number to my workers.    This is EXTREMELY annoying!!! I live in ALBERTA and the calls are from ONTARIO - Therefore not wasting my long distance on them.    Very frustrated - the one time I picked up I asked them to call me back later that evening,... they didnt call back for about a week and have been calling TWICE A DAY ever since.  

My mother gets calls from these people too and they are rude, they dont give a s*** about you and all they do is threaten you!!

My number gets called about 6 times a day by different numbers all belonging to the same company. I tried telling them they had a wrong number/person and that's when the calls increased from once or twice a week to half a dozen a day. So don't call. Even if you're not who they want THEY DON'T CARE and even when you report it to government agencies - nothing is done. They won't admit a mistaken identity. They're scum.

This number calls my house at 7:12 am EVERY SINGLE DAY. I live in Ontario and 1) I do not owe anyone any money. and 2) I am pretty sure that it is illegal to call at that time of day. I cannot speak to anyone because they call using an automated message asking me to call back a number regarding "an important business matter"

Just called my cell phone, no voice on the other end.....NOT happy.....my cell phone is for EMERGENCIES ONLY, and if you call my cell again, i will identify myself as a 9-1-1 dispatcher....how do u like the sound of that, big shots??

Called me and woke me up on a Saturday at 7:43am. Not impressed with whoever it was. I pressed the hang up button on my cell before anything. I owe nothing to no one so this is harassing because it's 3 times a week I get these damn calls!

If you owe money then simply put PAY YOUR BILLS.  If you are an innocent victim like me you will like my story.  For 5 months I was called 2-3 times a day asking to speak with someone I am not and do not know.  I had exhausted myself in trying to get this point across.  I decided to call the CEO of ARC ( Maurice Polard ) at his home.  The calls have finally stopped.

They keep calling me even though I gave them my ex's new contact info. I guess they can't find him so they keep harassing me. This is not right. This shouldn't be allowed. Why should I be responsible for a 68 year old - EX!!!

They have a toll free number also it's 1-866-427-3441. They are a collection agency, but there is a friendly speaking female receptionist who answers the calls. They are a legitimate company.

Called, looked it up, so I wanted to see who they were looking for. Not me, old roomate, so I said he does not live here. He goes in a stern voice : "Do I know him?" I go he does not live here and there is no forwarding information, then I hung up. Good luck finding him, if they do, only his tax information would be the source and thankfully these guys can't see that stuff.

if you go to youtube there is a disconnected phone message it sounds like your number has been disconnected i played it when they called and havn't heard from them yet so give it a try

The same number called me... Wonder if they're in the GTA? Call them back with unknown number and agitate their AZZ!!!
