This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of Iristel VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

I got a call from 289-796-0007 who claim to be from http://cancuncaribbeanvacations.com/#  (Cancun Caribbean Vacations) and they have a voice recorded message saying that I won a vacation then they ask you to press 1 and then immediately a call agent asks for your age and then credit card information.

The CID will not show anything other than the number. or sometimes show private number.

If you ask them how they got the info they immediately transfer you to someone who is good at quick talking. and tries to assure you that they are the real thing.

They say they are getting this information from RCI (https://www.rci.com/RCI/)

Basically they are trying to rob peoples information. Do not give them any information and block them and inform any authorities about them.
