How do I stop these annoying calls every day?

I got a call from that no. 289 818 1737. I was not interested in hearing them. I want  them removed...

They are from Ontario Eco Energy, lots of complains about them, the 'do not call list' does not work for them.  

Who is trying to kill you? These calls are an indicator that you may be the victim of organized harassment. The goal of this harassment is your death and it is perfectly legal in Canada.

How do you commit homicide by influence on the mind? From my experiences and from what I have read, homicide by influence on the mind is committed using Mobbing and Gangstalking techniques.

Someone from this phone number above had called me 5 times saying that they want to inspect our furnace and said that they will be in our Neighbourhood to inspect it without any notice, letter or email letting us know and I think this is a scam phone call which I am reporting and don't want this happening to anyone else. Please catch these people before its too late!!!

So glad I came across this forum once I Googled the phone number.
The woman I spoke to wanted to know when someone would be home over the next two days so that someone from Ontario Eco Energy could look at my furnace. I told her, "Why would I tell someone over the phone that I don't even know when I plan to be home and when I don't plan to be home? Sounds a bit suspect to me." The woman laughed, explained what it is that their company does (which sounded like a crock to me) and said that she'd phone back later on in the evening. Can't wait until she does.

Don't deal with these or other telemarketing scum. Simple no name on my call display I don't answer the phone. Amazing how many fewer call I'm receiving since implementing this.

The call I got from Ontario Eco Energy came from 289-818-1737.
They called me to say that they were booking appointments to check the safety of gas furnaces and that this was a regular service that they performed for me. When I said I didn't remember any such service in the past, the guy said they do it every 10 years and that's why I might not remember them. So I googled the company and found all these comments. I don't know how they can get away doing this, it's against the law to lie to get into someone's home. The workers who call you should go to jail same as the company execs!

I asked for a website when they called me and got; http://www.ecoenergyhs.ca looks like an HVAC company.

Looks like a shill for the fraud posting lies and garbage about their scam here folks.

This type of message is known as salting..as in salting a gold mine. Be wary of people making claims about firms that others have found very dodgy.

My furnace was actually quite old so I scheduled the inspection. Ended up changing to a higher efficiency one. No complaints so far.

And it sounded like a 14yo speaking with kids laughing in the background.

Typical "firm" scam by a bunch of wannabe thugs. Reported.

No one at other end when answered - someone's asleep at the dialing computer!

These idiots called, pretending to represent provincial furnace inspectors.

Called themselves "Eagle Energy" or something.

This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of Iristel VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.
