Yep, us too received a letter today telling us that we won 28,000.00. The check sure does look real but good thing I'm smarter then they are. I knew it was too good to be true. The catch of course is no return address on the envelope and it's stamped from Canada. Plus, they are sending us a partial payment to help with the winning expenses. What a bunch of bull.... !! All beware .. of course they are hoping that some of us fall for their $3,675.00 check. In hopes that we deposit it and write a check back to them for our taxes on the winnings or something. So they run off with our money before their check bounces on our side.
Please don't fall for it !!!!

Ya I got the same email, I tried to call the National city bank to see if it was real but I could not get a hold of them. Lucky I checked online because the thing that really made me believe it was fake was the Canadian stamp. I mean what dum a** thinks to put Chicago on it with a Canadian stamp DUUUUHHHH!!!!

Thanks for you posting, I too received the letter and had the same experience with the "foreign" sounding gentleman.
Only hope people will look online and see this posting before they get suckered.

I received the same letter, and thought (for a minute) it could be real.
I decided to check online to see if anyone else had gotten this too.

Received a letter from Winpro Investments out of Chicago with a check enclosed in the amount of $3,675 from National City Bank in Chicago. Donald Heeley is the "Claim Processing Representative." Totally bogus addresses on the letterhead as well as for the bank. Spoke to National City and they confirmed it was a false account number on the check. I called the Canadian, not Illinois, number and informed the "foreign" sounding gentleman that the FBI has been alerted to their scam. Be careful, everybody, the check looks real!!
