I had recieved a letter today with a check made out for 1916.00.  Only I was to contact FRANK ARMSTRONG.  This is a total fraud.

I received the same only mine was from a Meadowvale Research Group.  I didn't bother calling.  I just ripped up both and threw them away!  No one gets money for nothing.  It was very tempting, though, to try and cash the check!

I received the same "Secret Shopper" letter and a check.  they called themselves Meadowvale Research Group.  As mentioned, no one gets money for free, so I tore up the check and the letter and did not call.  The phone number w3as 289-892-2526.

Yes I recieved the same letter from that company but it was under a different name, do not! I repeat DO NOT! Fall for the scam an definitely do not deposit the check....even if you do deposite it don't spend it cause in the end all they will do is cancel the check an it will bounce....

I  recieved a letter in the mail with a valid check saying it was a payroll check paying me inadvance for my services of a secret shopper. All I needed to do was to preform two surveys  evaluating a local Western Union Store and the secoud survey would be to shop at a local WALMART, WALGREEN, K-MART, SERARS, COSTCO, BEST BUY, HOMEDEPOT or OFFICE DEPOT, evaluating the service render rating ther competence and good customer service relations. So I called this number that was on the letter and spoke with MARK ARMSTRONG to activate the check. Has anyone had an experience with this? They name theirselves STANDARD MARKETING RESEARCH.

I got a letter from the Universal Group INc. Saying i got a grant from working at walmart. i deposited the check and they said i had to wait 11 days so i did. My bank called the bank CITIZENS BANK in NY and verified the check. The check was real and was written to me. Well 2 weeks after I deposited it the bank called me and told me the check was stolen and my name was printed on it. So why did the bank tell her it was real and was written to me? It is aggravating.

I got the same check. It looks real, but NOONE gives money away for free, and I don't even own a home. The check says"Final International Home Improvement grant notification". It also says"I was a ramdomly selected from publishers clearing house or readers digest, or department store. I wonder......

Just received a "grant" check in the mail today.....searching the internet to find info on the company - can't find any.  My check drawn on Citizens Bank - from Lakeview Group Incorporated in the amount of $3,250.00.  I would like to turn this over to some authority so they can catch these SCAMMERS!!

Recieved the same letter from the National-Home Trust,Inc. with this same phone number, (289-892-2526) telling me I won a grant and recieved a check which looks valid. Does anyone know what is going on?
