I receive about 6 calls a day from this number on my cell phone, for over a year now. They do leave a message saying "[your] auto warranty has expired and now is the time to renew it, press 1 to speak with a representative."
The first few times I pressed 1 nothing happened, received an automated message that no one was available. Well today, I got a human. I did not give them a chance to speak and repeated told them to place me on their do not call list. (Pretty sure that won't do any good, but I tried.)
This is annoying and has ended up costing me additional dollars since they are very very persistent. Asked my cell provided if there was a way to block this number. Unfortunately, the answer is no.

This call comes in as "Unavailable". The person always hangs up when you ask who they are.

i picked up this number. it was automated telling me i was elligible for lowering my credit card rate. so i presed one and talked with a representative. she acted all vague pretending like she was actually from the credit card company. she then asked me what my credit card debt was before she even gave any information about herself or whoever it was that she was working for that was calling me. i acted annoyed and said i don't want to give you that information when I don't know who you are." she then hung up on me without giving me the chance to ask her to take me off their calling list.

seems as if the number is a spoofed one as (300) is an invalid area code
the FCC has to do something with caller id spoofing!
