I have also received multiple calls from this number.  I tried phoning back today... but the number's been disconnected!

This telephone number ( 301 209-0226 ) hasn't been mine since some time in early 2002 or so.  So the listing of my name in association with its current use and abuse and the implying of some negative action toward me constitutes harrassment.

To Gary Vizzo: This number is listed is being yours in Google (I don't know their source... apparently outdated white pages... but when I googled it your name came up above the search results). The person above just posted information from there.

Write to Google and ask to correct it.

Thanks, Andy.  Guess I'll have to try to get this changed in the grand database of U.S. telephone numbers in the sky.  Surprisingly my name also comes up still when I plug this number into a reverse lookup with Verizon, with whom I had had this number for several years but stopped service in 2002 due to a work move.  With Verizon, I later had two other residential numbers, not concurrently, one in College Park and the other elsewhere...so, Verizon is obviously using a poor database of information for their lookup service and perhaps/likely the same one used by Google.

It looks like Gary's number is being spoofed by the warranty guys. I heard somewhere that they look for a random disconnected number and then use it as their "disguise" caller ID. This is so the people being called cannot call back.

THESE people JUST WON'T QUIT!!  I don't even have a CAR!!!  They call my home phone & now my cell phone.  Everytime they use a different fake ID so I don't even answer if it's not a # I recognize.  GET on the DO NOT CALL list people!  https://www.donotcall.gov/

I may be an idiot at times, at least my wife would likely agree, but fyi I haven't had this residential phone number since some time on/a Jan of 2002, if I recall correctly...and haven't lived in College Park, MD for some time.

I would like to stop receiving calls from this number.

We purchased a 3 year old Honda Pilot from a private dealer one year ago.
Since then we have received literally hundreds of calls from this number wanting us to extend the vehicle warranty.  Now they are calling me at work and I do not know how they got my work number.  My wife tells me she gets this call pretty much everyday at home.  It is a recorded, very loud and rude message asking us to extend the warranty period on the Pilot.
Don't know how to get rid of them since you can't talk to a person.

I also got this call. Is there a way you can actually talk to them or someone else that can help remove us from their calling list?

Warranty renewal: very rude, hung up on me when I asked to be removed from their call list. I hate these people!!!
