I got this call this evening at 6:02 pm threatening to take me to collections. I accused them of being extortionists and they were offended that I would say that to them.  I forgot that there is not a timeshare offer out there that gives you 48 months to take the tour and the hotel rate was not discounted for that AND the hotel was a tacky apartment/wanna be hotel with only 1 television for a two bedroom "suite" hotel.

Lexie, what name did they use? Did they give you a first and last name. Did they use any other phone numbers? Sounds like you handled them well. Please turn in a report to BBB.....the online BBB sometimes just drops their complaints maybe print one out and mail it. Thank you so much for making a comment.

I just received the call last night.  They said they were TMC Travel.  They threatened to turn me to collections because they said I failed to attend the timeshare presentation within 4 years.  I never agreed to or signed such a thing.  They said I had to pay over the phone immediately. Because I was fighting back very aggressively, they got someone else on the phone and that person claimed that she was the manager.

What a crock of crap!  A goof by the name of Ronald PATTERSON ID# 9676 apparantly posing as a Account Manager with the Executive Travel Consulting company called and said I owed over $400 dollars and if I pay now I can get a $400 dollar rebate.  He ended with threatening comments it will go to collection. I guess this people do not know any better.

I received a call from this number  and did not answer.  I have been waiting for them to call again from another number and they did. This is a spoofed phone number.  The first number that called was 224.795.7063. Look up spoofed phone numbers.  Never give out info on the phone.  A legit collection agency wants you to call them back so they can collect.

The caller said his name was James.  We called back their phone number and of course it is a bad number.  I told them if I had signed such a thing, email me a copy, I will look at it and repond to them.  They said they could not do it and I needed to pay them immediately.  They finally gave up on me and told me if I wanted to hang up I could.  I have already reported them to the BBB.

I got the same guy...Ron Patterson....wow, good thing I hung up on him, and started to freak out and thank goodness I didn't give the bastard anything.  It started to sound suspicious because he said he had a fed ex package and that it was a federal offense ...so I only said that I was the person and he started to read some script about RCI and signing the agreement...and that I owed $400+ if I didn't want it to go to collections....I hung up on him...serves him right...

I didn't get a phone call from this number but I got one saying the exact same thing from a 916 number. They claim it was from a travel in 2003 and we were supposed to complete the timeshare by 2007 and "sent us a letter 15 days before the end of 2007" to which we of course never received. When asked if they could send it again, they couldn't. I wanted to make sure it was a scam and then found this site but am still not sure with the different numbers. The layout is the same and they identify themselves with Executive Travel.

We received a similiar call this evening.  The caller ID said Sacramento however the caller said he was in Florida.  He said we owed $400+ for a trip in 2004 for which we did not take a timeshare tour we had promised to do.  They said they sent us 2 letters but we didn't respond to them.  We don't remember any such letters.  They said we needed to give them our credit card number immediately or it would go to collection.  We refused but said we would send them a check.  They VERY reluctantly agreed.  They gave several different names during the conversation.  They said Executive Travel and also First Class Travelwise Consulting.  We were suspicious so started researching and found your site.  Thank goodness!  They need to be stopped!

I got a call at work one night in January from this number. Same thing. This was the "final" (albeit first) call to recoup the $400-someodd fee for failing to attend a timeshare tour back in 2003. They used the "Executive Travel" name. Some gal named Nicole, a "manager" I assume, ended up talking to me after the first guy couldn't explain some things. The end threat was something about attorneys contacting us and she gave me the interest rate of 11.9% on top of the $459.53 figure. She had the last four digits of my credit card and just casually needed the whole number to "verify" something else. Right. I've been waiting for the "attorney letter" but I guess I don't need to waste any more thought on it.

The call we received from this number was a scam, where someone was trying to threaten and scare us into giving them our credit card number over the phone immediately, to prevent our being sent to collections and being sued for over $400 dollars for not attending a time share presentation years ago.  Report them to the BBB and FTC.

Don?t pay anything to this company. They are frauds and they are no longer in business as of 9-25-2009 .

Dr. Christopher Greene is the head of this scam and the artist.  I just wish a lawyer in Florida would start a class action suit against him and Monica his wife.

Hi!  If I can recall right his name was Brian Spitzer he called from (301) 327-8038 I looked up the area code and 301 is from the State of Maryland. I called the number back  and it just said ?the call can not be completed as dial, please check the number and dial again?.   They call my cell phone,  they knew my old Address, the P.O Box and also they have my email address. He also said that I paid with my visa credit card which he gave me the last 4 numbers, but that credit card was old and canceled.  I was really surprise that they had all of that.  But regardless I was able to know, well toward the end of the conversation or the argument that it was a scam.  He kept telling me that if I knew my Credit card its protected againts Fraud??  I just started to laugh and I told him ?not when I would authorize the transaction?
Be careful that?s all I can say, they are very tricky? and don?t say your info.

How can they possibly have so much info on me?  I asked him to fax or email me the contract I supposedly signed but his responds was ?I don?t even have to be calling you, because you should be in collection by now.  They very rude. oh and this Brian guy got very fustrated then he trasferred me to his manager, which he acted very professional.Carefull... A goof ball by the name Ronald PATTERSON ID# 9676 from this number called us and told us we needed to pay $459. for not attending a timeshare presentation more than five years ago, while at a hotel in Vegas.  They used scare tactics and were very agressive.  If we did not pay immediately, they would turn us over to collections, sue us through their attorney, and our credit would be destroyed.  This is totally a scam.  If you get a call from this number, report them to the BBB or the FTC. Keep in mind Hotels discard their information every 5 years which is probably the way these knuckle heads are getting your information.  Or they work at the hotel.  Beware and do not give any credit card information over the phone....EVER!
