Area code 301 is southeast of Washington, DC in Maryland. I received a call from this number at 7:50 am. The caller did not speak and hung up immediately. It's odd as I once lived in that area code. Very odd. I called the number back half an hour later out of curiosity (My cell phone number is blocked) and received: (tone for baby bell message) "The number you've dialed is not in service." What I've read about these calls is that they're all scams using some computer to hide whatever number they're actually calling from cloaking it with numbers that are "out of service". Darned people anyhow ...

I KEEP GETTING ANNOYING CALLS ON MY CELLULAR PHONE FROM 301 548 4532 ASKING PERSONAL QUESTIONS CAN I HAVE HIM REMOVED?

Got this on 10-1-13 the number was-301-548-4532 was ask by the caller if i was diabetic, and also ask about any cancer treatments or relatives had cancer it was real fishy after I told him there was no cancer in the family he hung up.

just got a call from 301-548-4532. didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. my number is on the do not call list. getting sick of these calls.

Guy with a very heavy accent called for my wife (by name) claiming to be from "Medical Compensation Department" and refused to say what company.   THis smells like fraud.  I want to know how they got her name.

My father called me this morning with a sense of fear over the type of phone call he was woken up to. He was ask by the caller if he was diabetic, and also began to ask about any cancer treatments. My father in a haze, asked who he was speaking to. He was then told that he was from some form of FEDERAL agency and simply wanted to send my father money. After looking into the matter, I found this to be a LIE.

Another call, second one today inquiring about myself about being a Diabetic then about any family history of cancer or Diabetes. Foreign caller on the phone.
Earlier today they used 601-236-5382.
