to redredrobin.: We only can make outbound phone calls with the software we use. If you answer your phone you can ask to be removed from the calling list... wow thats fairly simple isnt it? We will call for the campaign once a day until it is over. And if you look up the company siegel marketing group on this crazy thing called google you would find our website and phone number, you can speak with a manager monday-thursdays and on sunday. Be polite when you speak with telefunders.

Suggest that you change your name, so your not confused with the Milwaukee folks.
JM-K 2012-07-24 11:30:33 Unknown
Comes up on my caller ID as "Steve Gardner". I don't know a "Steve Gardner", so I don't answer. This seems to be the latest telemarketer scam: use a valid area code and a name to make it look like a real call on caller ID.

SMG in milwaukee is completely legit so be polite. it is not affiliated with the silver spring location. We have a call center and one in jerusalem. We call for mostly jewish non profits and everyone who works there is very polite and will do anything you tell them too including donations or having a name removed from the list.

I'm in the same boat with all of you. I just phoned them to tell them to remove my contact info from their database and of course I get a recording that says "This number is not set up to RECEIVE calls." Such a scam. They can call out, but not receive calls from those who are bothered by them. UNFAIR!!!

Siegel Marketing has an office in Silver Spring, MD, using (301) 563-9578. Whether they are related to a company with a similar name in Milwaukee, WI is a mystery. In any event, they have been calling my home at all hours, including on weekends. They are godless perps of more scams. The FTC is useless, as all these criminals just use the DNC list as a pot to get phone numbers to endlessly harass all of us.
Thankfully, we had our 2nd round of primary elections in Virginia yesterday, so we might get a break in terms of reduced political calls for awhile.
Calls from these thieves are another reason to immediately contact your elected reps in DC to completely rewrite the DNC laws, prescribing severe fines and prison sentences for violators. The FTC is useless. Since this is a major elections year, one can expect increasing numbers of calls as November approaches, from all kinds of solicitors, liars, firebreathers, nonsensical messages, surveys, etc. Those wanting contributions will likely pocket the money and disappear. Even established campaigns can't be trusted - the campaign accounts of one elected rep were recently embezzled of $4.2M, by her supposed long time trusted aides. We had primary elections in Virginia on March 6th and yesterday (June 12th), which were preceded by numerous daily calls from all the phonies and liars. One day we even got 23 such calls. They even call on Saturdays and Sundays at all hours. We got a dozen such calls on Easter Sunday, too - it would figure that these godless animals and criminals would not be in church on Easter Sunday. The exemptions for political, charity, telemarketers, surveys, and non-profit related calls, etc. all have to be outlawed and stopped, along with the use of phony numbers and tie-lines. Use of any number not issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier) also have to be outlawed If a legitimate business or organization, they must be required to have their real identity show up on Caller Id along with their real phone number. Everyone, please contact your reps in DC!
I need to have peace restored in my household, including for the little ones who go to sleep early, not to be awakened by late night nuisance calls. Lately, I have turned off all of the landline phones at 8 PM.

I have been receiving calls from this place daily. Since I screen my calls I am able to bypass them. They normally do not leave a message. Today they left one on on FIOS voice mail and I just called back and got a recording which included the ability to request that they no longer call here. I'll just have to see if they honor the request.

I've been getting calls from these f*ckers who call themselves Siegel Marketing daily for months now, including Sundays. I recently did try screaming and cursing at a telemarketer with the "company" (which is trying to scam credit card information out of people), and she just snidely said, "We'll call you tomorrow." And they did. Should be a way to prosecute these people, cuz they're crooks.
Jackie 2012-01-08 22:56:25 Unknown
Thanks for the information. I am trying to investigate and even thinking of trying to prosecute. It's ridiculous that citizens can't do anything to stop these calls, which I've been getting daily -- including Sundays -- for weeks, months, I even think. I even punched "1" in response recently, so that I could cuss them out, and did, and asked them to stop calling me, and the woman I contacted just said snidely, "We'll call you tomorrow!" I told her to f**k herself ... but two days later, they called again.
Jackie 2012-01-08 22:53:36 Unknown
They want to lure you into giving them credit card information. Don't fall for it. They're a scam.
Jackie 2012-01-08 22:52:41 Unknown
They've been calling me daily -- including Sundays -- for weeks and weeks. Finally, I tried screaming at and cursing at them, and the woman I berated just said snidely, "We'll call you tomorrow!" They are really bogus, a scam to collect your credit card information, and should be treated like criminals. I don't know why citizens can't do a damn thing about these kinds of calls.

Multiple annoying calls even though we are on the national do not call list. "There ought to be a law!" Oh, there is!

This is a spam telemarketer allegedly for non-profits and they aren't in Silver Spring - they're in Milwaukee, 414-271-7000. Their contact us email is http://smgtoday.com/Contact_Us.html No surprise; they have no way to tell them to stop calling. I hope their clients are reading these and finding out how harassing they are.
Kate 2011-10-12 00:56:12 Unknown

They call meevery day, even on Sunday evenings. I never answer, they never leave a message. Who are they?
ASB 2011-06-06 20:44:40 Unknown
I've let it go to voice mail and they never leave a voice message...if an unknown number calls and doesn't leave a message, then I don't return call or pick up the next time they dial.
Homeowner 2011-06-06 20:44:40 Unknown
Fundraising company. Calling on behalf of a religious organization in this case, but likely works for many different nonprofits. Autodialer clearly dialed, then when I picked up took a full 15 seconds before someone on the other end asked to speak to me. Marking the call type as "Telemarketer" instead of NonProfit because this number is for a marketing company that serves as intermediary for the nonprofit itself.
