Received a call at my place of employment asking me to call a Mr. White at extension 106 and also giving me a file number.  However, although "Mr. White" left a message for me, the file number was for someone else.   The company is https://www.creditorclaimsinc.com.   Of course, "Mr. White" is probably not his real name or he's been working at the company a very long time.   It's best to make them aware that your workplace prohibits such calls, and then keep a record if they continue to call.

person called from credit collector looking for one of my employees .i asked what it was in reference to he said it was of personal nature and couldnt say i informed him that was the person of interested joband they should try his home. of which he said so what and proceeded to give me attitude of which i told him dont call here again and hung up on him.i googled the  number and spoke to pleasent sounding person who is taking our phone number off there list

It is a collection agency. they called to talk to my father regarding an account that I eventually paid for him but "Mr. White" was very rude when I told him my father was not available.  They don't ever have to worry about getting paid with that attitude.  They do use other numbers.  

I would have more respect for them if they were upfront and honest instead of trying to be sneaky.

Well, that company does have a website (https://www.creditorclaimsinc.com/), which indicates they've been around "since...1961" (ellipses in original), and has a main line number whose area code and exchange match the one given out on the phone message (301-565), though did anyone get the 2300 main line number on their message?  The website claims to have been up 4 years now.  Seems a bit odd that they seen to pop up here in waves, and that it always seems to be the same one or two people leaving the messages, though they could just be a small debt collector.

I'm more inclined to call them back now that I see they have a web page and a past history.

I got the EXACT same call, from Mr. White, at Rapid Fire Phone Number With Extension And Reference Number (TM). One of Mac Daddy's distant relatives is named Mr. White, so at first I was taken aback.

Someone harassed my wife for a bill she did not owe and the atty general of MD sent them a letter to cease and desist or the state would file charges.
They stopped.

caller's name-Michael Bush and Tel. number 301. 565. 0282 ext.102, company not mentioned . I ended up answering the phone since he keeps calling and leaving messages looking for somebody who I dont even know. I informed him the person who he was looking for doesn't live in this house and he keeps insisting that he verified the phone number and address through a whatever system he was talking about and told me that the person he was looking for lives in this house. I told him a few times that he got the wrong number and to DO NOT call my home number anymore. He started raising his voice and told me that he will keep calling my number. He is such a rude person!!!

Creditor Claims of America is the name of this collection agency.

i am not sure this is a legitamate business they do not want to share any information about who they are. their answering machine does not say the company name etc

This number was left on my voice mail from a Mr. White.  When I called back, a woman answered as if it was her home.  Upon asking about this extension he had left (106) she said, Ok, hold on.  I hung up.  What kind of business behaves this way???? The caller ID showed this number: 301-576-6001, however the number he left was 301-565-0282.  Chevy Chase MD.

They sent me a text message with the 301-565-0282 number.  When I returned the call a woman answered by just saying "hello". When I stated that i was returning a text she put me on hold and stated "i'm not the only one who uses this phone, hold on". upon returning she asked if I knew "william Burns" and then said sorry and hung up.  I am assuming it is a collection agency but WTF?

These people are calling my cell phone during business hours - this is unacceptable.

I have been dealing with this number for a while now, UGH!!! It is a company that answers "HELLO???". Real Professional there don't you think. It was for a outstanding bill from my 20 yr old daughter, whom is one her own. The billing office for this doctor (whom we have been with for 25 years now), was told they were billing me for my daughters bills and to place them in her name (which they did several months ago). Well this lady Joyce James @ Ext. 100 was told to STOP calling my husbands work several times a day, leaving messages everyday, calling our home non-stop, sending statements then to make this harrassing even more fun (YEAH RIGHT!) she nicely includes our home tax records. Spoke with this doctors office direct today (mind you balance is zero), office manager very appuled by their bussiness tactics as well as saying this is not a company she thinks they deal with, plus this balance of 186.77 was never even a ammount due, she can't understand where that even came from. Glad to know this doctors office back me and not the appuling pratice of this company. The doctors are even going to clear everything up and are very sorry this has happened to us. Someone screwed up big time, I will let you know what happens.................

Mr. White at Ext. 106 is very charming ... he calls each week at my office looking for Anitia K. .. I tell him to quit calling the WRONG NUMBER and wasting my time. Still no results. Good luck Anitia K. whoever you are. To keep Mr. White employed doing a job he clearly loves - DON"T PAY whatever it is you owe.

Smae MO for me - "Michael Bush called from 301-576-6001 and told me to return the call to "Mr. White at 301-565-0282 ext106.  Been dealing with them for a couple months now and he is UNBELIEVABLE.  When I called back, I got Michael Bush and he said he was collecting a debt for (enter name here) who happens to be my 14 month old son.  So I figured it was a Dr's bill and explained to him, politely, that I have recently been laid off and anything but household bills are on hold but that I was interviewing and hope to have a job soon...he says, "Can I speak to your husband and he can pay the bill?".  I said "who's money do you think is paying our everyday bills?" and this went back and forth for about 15 minutes - he insisted that because I wasn't working, my husband could pay it.  Total nonsense!

I have just about HAD it with these people. I have told them numerous times that i do not know the person they are trying to reach and I guess because we are both women they assume I am her and lying. i have been nice I have screamed and yelled, I have even accused them of harrassment and would report them to no avail. I am sick to my blasted stomach with these folks and want to be left alone... A Michael Bush, and also a Joyce, they will NEVER say the company name though, very weird!!

By the way I found 2 other numbers they seem to use 301-565-2301 and 301-565-2300. Just FYI why do they ned to switch numbers????

These people keep calling my work number and now they are calling my boss - they are jeopardizing my job and it is getting out of control.  They call me and then him non-stop at our jobs - this is illegal and I want them to stop immediately.  I have reported them several time on the "Do Not Call Registery", but it does no good.

This seems to be a home based collection agency business. The guy Harrison was rude and attempted to bully me into paying a bill. When I told him I didn't know who he was and that I would not give him payment information without finding out more information, he threatened to send it to the credit agency.

While I was busy with another call, this number calls on my call waiting and leaves a "breather" message. Sick!! When I called the number back I got a recording to enter an extension or hold, then listened to loud music and finally a female came on the line with "hello" several times like she couldn't hear me. Then she said my first name (it's on the caller-ID) so I hung up on her. What is going on here? Maybe a mental health clinic? No, they are better than that.

Yes they seem to be called CCA and are a faudulent operation as far as I can tell.
