TIRED OF HAVING MULTIPLE CALLS FROM THIS Number,   Caller ID 301-716-2000 shows Berwyn, MD.  Caller says the FBI has reported an increase in burglaries in this area.  They want to put a security sign in my front yard and will install a security system free of charge.  Sick of receiving these robo calls.

These crooks have come up with a new trick. My caller ID said BERWYN MD. My wife had made an appointment to see a doctor so thinking it was in connection with that, I picked up the phone. Instead I get a pitch from a bot telling me about the FBI and burglaries in my area.

A person has to be stupid to do business with the likes of these scumbags. What they are doing is totally illegal.

They woke me up while I was trying to get sleep for my night shift. I'm filling out the fcc complaint form and you can too.

telemarketer stated this was GE Security Systems.  when i stated i was on the do not call list he rudely hung up on me.  what a way to do business

I received a message on my home phone today, July 31, 2013, approx. 1:57 p.m. -- caller left a v.m. as the callers stated above.  I did not listen to the whole message as I am also on the "DNC" list and also has had an unlisted number for many, many years.  It does no good.  Wish there was a way to stop these annoying, harassing calls.

I just got a call from this number, with recorded message as described by other callers.  Mentioned FBI and local police, said they'd install a new system at no cost if I let them put a sign in the yard.  I did not press 1 to talk to a human, as I was waiting for automated announcement about which button to push to be put on their do-not-call list, as required by law.  No such announcement was forthcoming, the automated call program just hung up.  They did not mention which company they were with.

Got a robo call from "cell phone" saying there were burglaries in my area blah blah. Im on the do not call list but it doesn't seem to matter, I get a couple calls a day from different people/companies. So annoying.

Just received this phonecall. These people are so annoying. Whats the point of the do not call list when I have been on it for years and still get telemarketers calling me?

After getting this robocall I pressed 1 just to talk to a human. He asked "who he had the pleasure of speaking with?" When I replied that it was with someone on the do not call list and what was the name of his company he immediately hung up.

Security company robocall trolling for business, says that the FBI reports burglaries in our area.

They called stating information about FBI etc. I am on the do not call list. Only received one call.

I got a call from this number just a few minutes ago. They didn't CLAIM to be the FBI, just tossed the FBI into some fake statistic about burglaries every 15 seconds. I'm already on the Do Not Call list. I am so SICK of getting these calls!

Just got one today.  I pushed 9 to be put on the "do not call" list.  It registered as a MD number.

Received the same call. If they were FBI, they wouldn't be call you regarding burglaries in your neighborhood. It also a federal felony to impersonate a FBI agent. You call the  FBI and report your call. That should get some attention.

Received the same call --- submitted a do not call request --- nothing is ever free.....

Recorded message about a "free" home security system with no purchase or installation fees just for allowing them to place a sign in your yard.  What they do not tell you in the recorded message is that you are required to sign up for a long term monitoring contract to receive the free system.  The sole purpose of the call is to entice you into purchasing the service contract with the lure of the free system.
