I just received this same mysterious envelope it's weird because it was addressed to my boy friend who only visits occasionally really freaked me the fuk out!

Yes I received this at my office as well., I immediately knew it was a scam. Still glad I looked up here first!!

Can you tell me who this phone number belongs to.  We got a envelope with no return address other than it was stamped Baltimore.  It had a white index card with a call this number and a reference number and that was it.

It is a collector/lawyer. For a lawsuit. They will try to garnish your check. In other words what ever it takes to get that money.

I am being harassed by these people. Did you get any other information?

I got an envelope addressed to my job with "Employee" written on it.  When I opened it up, there was a little piece of paper with, "Please call me at 301-731-8069 E. Taylor"  This is really crazy.  Do these people think I'm stupid enough to call a number written on a cut up piece of paper out of an envelope that has no return address? Give me a break.  This is clearly some sort of scam. No legit place of business would do something like this. BEWARE!

got a note in the mail to call this number. When I called they wouldn't identify themselves unless I gave them a number that was on the note. I just hanged up, no idea who it is.

The number on the note is a case number, so when they ask for it it's to look up your account.

I got a letter in the mail asking me to call. There was no return address and when I did call, there was nevey any answer.

First I got message asking to please call Ms. Taylor.  When I called they answered the phone as if it was a resident. When I ask what the call was pertaining to the end user refused to say.  This is very weird debt collection and I must question if it's legal or not.  If you have my information why can?t I at least have the Name of Your Company?  I would say beware....

Really scary!!! Maybe a scam? Plus I don?t give any personal information over the phone now a days not even my name..

My wife got a call from them saying that her and her roommates (2 of them) vacated a lease early and acquired 643.25 in charges.  My wife signed into a one year lease, but the roommates remained until the lease terminated - one of which remained on a month to month basis after the lease expired.

Not exactly sure, but I think this might be a scam because of how they pressured my wife to pay over the phone immediately.  She was quick witted enough to not give any information and told them she will have to investigate this further, taking down their information, which includes this number.

I have sent a validation request to them to see what they have, if anything.  If nothing, I will probably report this agency to the MA and IN Attorney Generals, as well as the FTC.

I got the same stupid envelope with the folded piece of paper in it requesting to call 301-731-8069. This post help me figure out who they are.

This is a collection agency. Jack Harris. They sent a note advising to call. E. Harris Direct # is 301-577-2666 Ms. Jones address is 8855 Annapolis Road #107 Lanham, Md. 20700
