Received call at 3 PM today, caller ID only said "Maryland".

Man with thick Indian accent asked for my elderly mother.  I said she wasn't available, he said he was calling regarding her mortgage and then said he sees that we live in a single-family home.  (Uh, no.  Townhome) and then tried to tell me what the monthly payment was.  I told him that was my mother's business, not mine and he tried to talk over me.  I hung up.

We received a call this morning, it rang twice and then the other party hung up. When we attempted to call back we always got a busy signal.

Same as others: rang twice, hung up. Tried calling back; line was busy.

I answered it...these types of unknown caller id's annoy me. An automated voice said "press 1 to accept, 2 to try again". Needless to say I hung up. Called the number back and got the automated message "your call cannot be completed as dialed or is disconnected..."

got the call. missed it. googled it. this came up. whoop.

Same here. They just called a few minutes ago.

called mid-afternoon while i was on other line.  since i didn't recognize it i didn't switch over.  did not leave message.  Caller ID just shows MARYLAND along with number.  Exchange is Clarksville, Fulton, Highland area.

called 11:41 am EST, phone rang 3 times then message machine picked up and they hung up --- I AM ON DO NOT CALL LIST ----WHY CAN'T SOMETHING BE DONE BY THE GOV FCC TO STOP ALL THESE KINDS OF CALLS &^*&^$@#$$@#$

They are trying to get you to refinance your mortgage. When I informed them that I was not interested they hung up. Apparently, they are not honoring the "Do Not Call" list. When I called the number back, a recording said that the call could not go through. How are these people allowed to do this?

They just called and hung up when I answered.

I received a call from 301-854-4805, the caller ID read Clarksville MD. Amchine voice said "press 1 to accept, press 2 to try again." I hung up & then called back. "Call could not be completed as dialed."

Used my phone function to block the phone number.

You can file a complaint online with your State Attorney General's Office.  They will investigate the matter.  Might as well put your tax money to work.  Also, for what it's worth, if you look up this phone number on whitepages.com and do a reverse search, it indicates that the number is a landline out of Ashton, MD.  Also, keep the person talking so you can get as much info as possible for a formal complaint to the Attorney General's office of your State.

DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL! this call was this indian guy who called me later with his own cell phone. then asked for SEX CHAT. DO NOT ANSWER!

This person's name is David, he actually called me again with his own cell phone number. +919737248945 yes, its an INDIAN number! please call him to annoy him. because he surely annoyed us.

We just got a call from them and the man said he was from the Financial group or something like that then asked if we had a mortgage.  I proceeded to give him my social security number...ok, I'm joking.

I said we werent interested and hung up.

That happen to me came up on my caller id Maryland and the number .

this number called my house at 6:15 Monday evening. I tried to call it back got a busy signal

This guy called me today and when i asked who it was he hung up... then i called the number back and it was disconnected....

Got the same thing two days in a row.  Two rings, then a hang up.  I was able to find out that it's a Verizon phone number.  Verizon added a (free) call block feature to my phone and has blocked this number from calling in the future.

let complaint with FCC online for same number but had same problem many months ago but cant recall if it's the same number.  FCC will pursuit but you have to submit. in some cases YOU get paid (if it's a fax, i think)

Some Indian guy tried to talk to me about lowering my mortgage payments--he admitted that it wasn't a low interest rate, but low payments---could barely understand him and hung up

This number just called here - "Out Of Area" on the caller ID.  I did not answer and from the helpful notes above, Im glad I didn't. Annoying pain in the you know what!

I have been getting these calls for weeks now, no one at the other end, and for the past week, I've just letting the call ring, with no message being left on my answering machine. Caller ID just says Maryland. Tried calling them back but always busy. PLEASE, someone stop these calls!

SAME AS ALL OTHER COMPLAINTS...PHONE RINGS A COUPLE OF TIMES THEN THEY HANG UP
TIRED OF THESE CONSTANT CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!

If they call and hang up press #key 5 or 6 times. It confuses the machine that is checking if your there
