What is the deal with this number?  Did not answer the phone or call back wanted to first find who and what it was.

I got a call from this number today and they hung up when I answered.  There was no response when I called it back.  The phone just rang until I got the fast busy beep and disconnection from the phone ringing so long.  As i understand it the number for UMUC advising is 301-985-7000 so I am not sure if this number is connected with UMUC or not but if it is, they need to get it together.

this number has been calling my home. I am student at UMUC assuming could be account services automatic number even though is UMUC we need to find out what do they need.  I am not sure if the school knows what is going on but i think we should tell them.

I am a student at UMUC and I received a call from this number on my cell phone and my home phone back to back. I have the number for UMUC saved on my cell contacts so when they called it showed as being that number; when I answered my cell when they called no one spoke, before I could hang up my home phone rang and the caller ID showed Univ Cllg and was the same number as the one from my cell. When I answered my home phone no one spoke and then I got a fax sounding noise. I tried calling the number back and it just rang and rang and rang. I have no clue what this about but would sure like to know who is doing this.

It is UMUC advising.  So if your not registered there call back or if you are it is probably your Counselor....
