I have had a few of these calls but they dont bother me as much as Reid Fulcher claiming that he is a ID Theft resolution specialist.  I would like to let people know that this man (Reid Fulcher) is a con artist and a fraud.  I would not believe a word that he says.

Hello,
I wanted to let you know that this appears to be what is commonly known as Caller ID Spoofing… this is the newest Identity Theft craze, I will warn you this can be very dangerous if you proceed with this in any way… I have blocked them and they come back with a different number, I am now reporting these calls to the FTC for investigation
Please give me a call, I would like to speak to you about this, I am a certified ID Theft resolution specialist, I know about this stuff because I protect people every day from Identity Theft

I did not take the call.  My cell phone showed that the phone call came from Maryland.  The caller did not leave a message on my voice mail.

Just so everyone will know we did some research and this number is generated from Core communications Inc (410) 216-9865 and their sister company Cortel (866) 744-3652, I'm sure these calls would stop if we all contact this company who provided them this number to harrass us in the first place.

Just threaten them with fraud, they hang up and you get a "you have been removed" message.  I've never been disconnected from a call so fast in my life.  LOL

Her: What is the make and model of your vehicle
Me: you tell me which car you're calling about you called me, you should know
Her: I need the make and model of your vehicle
Me: either you have that information or this is a fraud call and I'm going to report you to the authorities
Computerized voice: Your phone number has been removed from our records *click*

Hi, I'm the President of General Warranty Services, the company that's bothering you.  I'm a huge do***ebag with a flimsy Product/Service that's been around for less than six months but has still garnered enough bad attention to fill posts and threads throughout the web with venom about my shady company.  My business model is to have my poor employees call you constantly with no regard to "No-call lists" and requests to be removed from our sales list to try and trick you into thinking that this is your last chance to extend a warranty on a vehicle that I have no idea of the make/model/year or even if it exists.  It's likely that the person calling you has also been duped by my job ads stating they can make $700 - $1200 weekly, though there are many people like the girl who wrote this complaint ( http://www.complaints.com/2008/april/19/General_Warranty_Services__167764.htm ) about making $45 for 54 hours worked.  Whenever you receive multiple phone calls from General Warranty Services, and find yourself on the edge of losing your mind I encourage you call me, Bill Ranney at 603-685-6250 ext. 1141 as many times as my unethical company has called you and please let me have it.  P.S. I make love to children, animals and things that have died.

I got a phone call from them every day for the last two weeks telling me that my warranty is expired. I have a 2007 SUV with a 36 month warranty, I bought the car a year ago.  These people are starting to piss me off.

These people call me every few days. I don't know anyone in Maryland so I always hang up. If I don't know the person on caller id I don't answer. I tried to call back and was told that the number was no longer in service. I called back about 2 mintues after they tried to call me. Seams fishy to me and now I see a lot others have had this issue.

Received a call from this number, listened to the recording about my vehicle warranty expiring and that I should press 1 to talk to a rep, and was in a playful mood, so I figured what the heck, I'll press 1.

Spoke with a young lady allegedly named Sharon, who told me my vehicle was too old for most extended warranties they offered, but the PowerTrain Warranty was perfect for me. After rattling off all of the details and the price of over $2,000, she asked how I would like to pay for the downpayment of only $399.

Anyways, we got to talking and after 10+ minutes, I was able to get their web site address of www.automotivewarrantysolutions.com but when I asked her how she got my number (which BTW is only a few months old) she had no idea other than it was 'computer generated'.

Hope this helps...
