Get repeated calls on my cell. I ignore them since I don't know anyone in area code 302. Thanks for the info showing I'm wise not to bother, especially since I have a GoPhone and have to pay for all calls.

Just phoned, thick accent, trying to tell me he was going to help me with my computer problem. Caught me in a bad mood, so I told him something pithy, hung up, and blocked his number.

This person called and said my computer was down loading a bunch of things and they had permission to go in and check.  I did not give my permission and when I said to hang on I was going to check my computer they hung up.

Got the call from "Michael" in "California" called and said my windows operating sysstem was downloading viruses all the past week. My laptop has been off and disconnected and I've been using a Chromebook while sitting with my wife in Hospital. I told him he was a scammer from a call center in Mumbai in Hindi, he got scared and hung up.
The name that comes up on my caller ID is "Backbone Communications" a provider of telecom to off-shore call centers. Bunch of scammers attempting to gain access to your computer to steal financial info. Same number came up two weeks ago and another India native tried to get my credit card information to "refund" $399.00 of my "computer purchase price" from my last computer purchase due to an error in their charging me. Heh. I told him that if he was as purported he already has the ability to reverse the charge without my revealing my credit card info. Just refubd it to the card used to purchase the laptop from Wal-Mart. Idiots!

Hi all posters - I got a call too. I used to work at Microsoft and they would never call people and try to get access to their computer. It is most likely somebody trying to hack into your computer. Hang up :-)

so full of it the only computer i run from home i run without a hard drive, with my operating system off a cd just so i can search the web so I cannot be picking up viruses. It is the only computer being used here, no chance i have viruses i have to reload flash player every time i turn it on, total scam and u work for them.  I am on the do not call list forward that to your higher ups twit

Got the call twice & havent answered. Thank yall for reporting this! There's alot of scamming going on & its too risky to answer the phone anymore.

caller was middle eastern or Indian and talked real soft and was hard to understand
when questioned he said he was Microsoft qualified and certified rep
I told him he was full of crap, and i was going to give his number to the authorities. he hung up

I got a call form this number last night after work for the first time, but no one said anything, so I hung up. I got another call from the number this morning, but was with a customer at work, so I didn't answer. I called the number back about 5 minutes later and a foreign man answered. I couldn't understand what he said his name was, but I did hear him say he was from "PC Solutions", just as the above commenters have said. He asked me for my name so that he could look up the reason as to why they called me, so I gave him my name. He immediately began to discuss with me that Microsoft had detected a virus on my laptop. I told him that I have Norton 360 on my laptop and I that perform weekly scans and had never seen a threat detected. What I forgot to mention is that my mother received this same call from this same man about 3 days ago, saying that her home computer had this exact virus. Coincidence? I think not! I called him back after hanging up with him and yelled "STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE" then proceeded to hang up, again. The audacity of some people!!

Received this same call today.  I asked for the email address that was sending the email, he couldn't provide that.  He provided a phone number that was supposed to be ours, wasn't even the right number! Definitely a scammer!

I get many calls in a daily period from this number. The guy says there is an issue with my computer sending a virus thru the global network. His name was Danny with an accent also and I told him I could not understand what he was saying and that if I had an issue with a virus it needed to be something that I would bring up with McAfee as that is the software that I have installed to protect my computer. He stated it was hidden and that it would not be detected and that is why I wouldn't know it was there. This person is more than persistent and is down right annoying!

What absolute nonsense. We are all wise to this scam and how you people working for the company come on here to place fake testimonials. The more you write these bogus reviews the more people know to avoid your company at all costs. You are a scam and are not to be trusted.

Initially i was annoyed to talk to them. But eventually they were very helpful and helped me in fixing all the issues in my computer

Yes The Call was made to me for a Technical Support to my computer. Those Guys really helped me in fixing all the issues found in the computer. It was nice them. No one ever helped indeed. Appreciate it.

I received a call from the Indian accented man from Microsoft PC Solutions...told me I was receiving viruses globally on my computer and he would guide me on how to take care of them.......seriously??  I told him I was no where near my computer and to call me back....now that I read all these other posts, I won't be answering his phone calls....thank you!!

got a call from this number telling me about viruses on my pc, but i don't even own a pc

this number called me numerous times said i had problem with pc..i hung up..my laptop is brand new yesterday...

Did not recognize number,s o did not answer.  Am on no call list.

Got a call from this number from Delaware stating he was from Microsoft claiming I had a virus on my pc and he could fix it.  I informed him I received a similar call on Dec. 7 and got the same message but this call  came from Jamaica, 876-581-3456 and he claimed that had nothing to do with that call and he hung up.  I have since called microsoft headquarters and inform them of these calls and these are definitely SCAM calls.  BEWARE!!

Got the same call same number and he tried to get me to not hang up. Since I just a call over the last 3 Saturdays by a bogus IRS agent I was suspicious! Thanks everyone

This number called me today and said that i had problems on my pc. Strange thing is that my pc is totally fine.
These are potential scammer/hackers.

Got a call this evening saying my computer is picking up viruses . Computer running fine but isn't attached to my cell.
