I called this number a number of years ago and got my law degree from them.   I then worked as a community organizer, then entered politics and became a senator, and now I am the president of a well-known country and am giving the country the same kind of education that I got from them.

I make an unbelievable amount of money and it's all thanks to the good people at University Program.  And thank you voters from Well-Known Country!

Gail, you sure sound like you are part of the scam.  There is no legitimate way to get a good education without putting in time, effort, and money.

Any idiot can say, 'I called this number and got my degree in a couple months and now I make a lot of money.'

Your message is really stupid and reveals your contempt for other people on this site.  Do you actually believe people will fall for your vague references to the school as 'University program?'  How about you receiving an un-named degree in an un-named field.

The amazing thing is that anyone ever falls for this obvious scam.  But it seems there is always someone who thinks they can find the easy way for big payoffs.  It just doesn't work that way.   To obtain something of value you have to give something of value.

Let's see - three posts reporting it a scam, yet you are saying it is valid with no supporting information.

It seems to me this is a company producing fake degrees (more commonly referred to as 'Degree Mill' or a scam, that if you spend your money to obtain such degree, will get you fired if you try to say you are really qualified.   The fact the original email I received had NO identifying information about the company whatsoever, tells me they have something to hide and is probably either a scam or illegitimate.

I"m sure this is a well qualified school. I get a ton of emails from them with subject lines like:

Unaivesity abdiploma
Uniabvesity diploma
Univesbity diplaaoma

All contain the same  302-283-3703 number The emails are rife with spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors. That's some school! Anyone who believes they can get a degree in anything (other than scamming) in 6 days better think again.

I called his number and within days had a degree (for a fee, of course). Surprisingly, no employer or any other institution recognized my Doctorate. I told them I acquired the degree from a legitimate phone number who used a legitimate print shop, but they still denied my credibility! Now I am out of money and receiving hundreds of telemarketing calls a day. Oh, this is simply disastrous!

Dear Dave (with a big D :)),

Using a small g in my user name does not mean that I am uneducated; it is just a user name after all.
A suspect is not guilty till proven guilty so if someone is a suspect I would not call him anything until proven guilty. I would be cautious and keep my kids away from him but you really can't compare child molesting to buying a degree based on your past education and professional experience now can you? It is a bit extreme.
Fact is, I do not really care where my degree came from as long as it serves its purpose and can be verified, which it has.
I came to the states 20 years ago with a Master degree from another country which was not accepted here unless I took additional courses which I could not do because I did not have the time or the money.  Maybe if the USA educational system was more flexible and took into account that I had a Master degree I would not have needed to buy one. But no!! They were out to make a profit on my expense which prevented me from using my credentials. It is all about politics and money and has very little to do with the quality of the education. The proof is in the pudding, so having tasted the pudding I just posted from real live experience with the program. Take it or leave it I just thought it may be helpful.

All the best,

Gail (with a capital as you like it lol)
P.S. hope this post passes your punctuation test

Obviously, posters who support this are scammers themselves.  This is supposed to be a number to talk to some education counselor?  I got 14 emails on just 1 page of spam, ALL with misspellings in the subject.  Lol, it's unfortunate the government will take great strides to limit our freedoms, yet drag their feet when they could actually help people by finding, and prosecuting scammers.

And one more thing: Any institution can award a degree. You can get a doctorate from Joe's Bar and Grill. But the strength of the degree rests in the credibility of the institution that provided it. Any fool can start an online business awarding diplomas to anyone who will pay for them - and do so legally. But a diploma from Bob's School of Fine Arts doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

Wow, gail (with a lower-case g). You may have a degree but you obviously don't have much of an education - as is evidenced by your post.

So you say that you have to be scammed before you can determine that something is a scam. Well, that sucks. Applying that logic, I suppose if a person who is suspected of being a child molester moves into my neighborhood I have to wait for him to molest my child before I take action to keep my child out of harm's way.

As to if the actual "product" is a scam or not - I don't know and frankly its not what bothers me. What bothers me is that I'm being bombarded with spam from these people that uses multiple "from" email addresses, and multiple misspellings of the words "university" and "diploma" so that I cannot effectively enter them into my spam filter. Is that how they got your business gail with a small g? You actually gave them your business after they did that? And they can't blame it on some rogue affiliate because the emails only give a phone number - not a link with an affiliate code.

Now that I know what state these guys (or guy) operate out of I intend to report them to office of the Attourney General. I will also be contacting the FTC. Legitimate or not, their marketing methods are unarguably unethical and unlawful.

sounds like you have sour grapes, you put in a lot of hard work getting your degree the traditional way and i am sure paid a lot of money. Hurts to see that you could off gotten it an easier way right? And what you posted is obviously not true because you could not have stayed on the line with this number and spoken to someone directly at this number because it is a voice mail number and no one will answer this number you can only leave a msg. I left a msg and a very professional educational counselor called me back and worked with me for a couple of months till i received my degree. The call back was a local call and the degree has helped me advance in my field. Thank you University program!!!
In today's bad economic times you have to think a bit out of the box. If someone asked you where you worked it was kept confidential, it was asked to determine if you qualify for the program. If you spoke to someone then they called you back. Don't call a program a scam till you have been scammed. If you received your degree and it did not work for you then call it a scam. Obviously you did not qualify for a higher credential.

What a joke.
To get a diploma, you have to work for it. it takes years to be that educated, as i know this for a fact.
People will laugh at you.
Come on now people, earn it the right way and you will be ahead, instead of giving away your money.
I wonder who is really educated,  the scammers. lol

Well here you go, for those who really needed someone to show them the truth:

Never try this from your actual everyday telephone or you will regret the hundreds of dollars you will spend.

I called the number from a throw-away cell phone that is not tied to me in any way (other than being in my hand)  7-11 sells one that worked just fine for this.  <-- I didn't go and buy one, I already had it.

From my area, this number is international long distance but I should have been able to talk for nearly two hours with the prepaid account.  However I was only able to stay on the line with them for roughly 8-10 minutes as at that time, the minutes remaining on my account dropped to zero.  Thus I have to assume they are charging over $5.50/min.

If you didn't think it was a scam before, what do you think now?

They ask you for where you work, home address, phone numbers, date of birth, previous level of education.  Gee sounds like a phishing scam to me.

Those of you who keep asking for someone to call the number... are you working for the scammers?  Why don't you phone the number and find out for your self if you are so curious.  Why does someone need to be scammed before you can see the obviousness of the scam?

I am out about $100 of prepaid minutes but I proved it was a scam.  Are you happy now?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.  I really can't believe that anyone would fall for such poor grammar and spelling.  Personally I am glad I got my degree the old-fashioned way.  By going to university and working my butt off.

P.S. How come under call type, there is no choice for "Obvious Scam"?

To think that Jethro Bodine had to get all the way through the third grade to get his degree in "brain Doctirin",
when he could have had it in only weeks from these womderfull people.
