Called me 5 times in one day.  Never left a message, name does show on phone.  The last time finally left name.  Says her name is Kelly Thomas and that she works for Sallie Mae.  So if this person works for Sallie Mae why doesn't it show that when she calls.  Sounds to me like a Collection Agency.  

This is Sallie Mae. I consigned  1out of 7 student loans for a close family member. Before she graduated she was promised they would consolidate all loans. Well that didn't happen!!!   They said they couldn't. Long story short she has been making small payments on each and every loan every month. Because $1200 is not feasible for someone just staring out. People also have to pay rent etc.  Theses people call me starting 8am to 9pm.  Totally annoying. Never the same phone #,    This is against FCC regs.

The DNC is for telemarketers only. Debt Collectors do not fall under the DNC. Your complaints should go to the FTC, CFB and your state Attorney General.  However, since its Sallie May, you should write them a cease and desist letter first and send it certified or return receipt mail to make them stop calling you. We don't have any student loans.  Don't know why 302-283-4088 calls us from 7am -9pm Monday thru Saturday.  Must be robo call.  We report them each time to the Nat'l Do Not Call Registry.

keep getting calls from this number 24/7.  notes say debt collector.  we owe no debts.  someone taking a loan may have given our number.  we keep reporting it to the Nat'l Do Not Call Register.

Wrong number, believe to be telemarketer calling late Sunday evening.

I get this call a few times a day I asked sallie mae if this was a number of there's and they said no it is some kind of scam and to not give them any info about your account

These are scam artists pretending to be Sallie Mae. They even did not have my son's correct information, calling me several times a day to pay off a loan that really is not due. I suggest that you contact Sallie Mae only through the numbers on their official correspondences to you.

I received a call from this number and the person promptly hung up when I asked who was calling.  I cosigned on a student loan for which the payment was misapplied by Sallie Mae.  Sallie Mae refuses to apply the payment to the correct loan and they continue to call.

This is extremely frustrating.  Sallie Mae should correct their records.

I've been getting calls from here, and I know it is Sallie Mae.

The problem is that recently, I've been getting calls and when I answer, there is dead air.

I owe no money and have not co-signed with anyone, but they call. I now have them blocked. It will not make the phone ring anymore.

This not the government Sallie Mae, it's some private spam company.

I don't have any student loans - but this number keeps calling me.  Its my cell number and I get lots of calls for the person who had the cell number before I got it.  They call about a couple of times a day - since February 20th.  This is harrassment.

Calls several times a day does not leave a message, must be Sallie Mae.. This is total harassment and is against FCC regulations, they cannot use robo calls or call many times for the collection of a debt.

Never take another student loan!

They just called looking for someone who left this office about 11 years ago.

No loan here, but they just keep calling.  Family member that has never used this number has student loan and is current on payments.  If this is Sallie Mae they need to get their act together.

I get the same calls 3 or 4 times a day so I have verizon and have their numbers blocked. Also do a search for a call blocker. You can find one on amazon for 70$ and no more bothering you. Let them waste there calls.

They've been using all types of numbers to call myself and parents. I believe computers set up the calls because they tend to call around the same time daily.

Be VERY CAREFUL with them as they can take your tax returns and also attach your pay check at any time.  I HATE SALLIE MAE!  We co-signed on my son's first year loans and took the second year loan out in my husband's name because he assured us it would always be paid back.  Of course now they are always late so it's our credit and pay attachment that is at risk.  I know people who have had their pay attached so it's better to work with them than ignore them.

I listed my husband on my student loan, and they call me, him, and two of his references (his brother and dad, how humiliating) up to ten times a day wanting to get me to pay.  They are already asking for 73% of my income, there's nothing more I have to give and they just won't stop!!!!

These people are f****d up and Evil. How they just gonna not call me and not call my house phone but go and call my grandmother on Mother days on a damn Sunday saying my payment is due..

I have the same exact problem. They will not work to get me lower payments. They are aweful they want 2/3 of what I make in 1 month and then they have the courage to say "you can divide it in the 2 paychecks" it is still 2/3 of what I make in one month!!!! It is unrealistic and stupid.

Good old Sallie Mae.  NEVER Co-Sign a loan unless it is you kid and your sure YOU can come up with the payment in though times.  They will call 5 times and day and eventually report you to the credit buerues.  Finally got a job.  Maybe I can get caught up with them

I am getting 3-4 of these calls a day.  This is about a loan a friend forged my signature and put into my name and took off with the money....leaving me with his debt.  I have tried to get Sallie Mae to fix it..but so far have refused to do so.  My loan is up to date and current...his school loan is past due.
