This number calls and leaves no message......  What a bunch of SOB's. Called phone company and reported them.... Hope it helps but I doubt that it will.....  These are really sick people!  My bills are current and I wish to hell these stupid people would just go to helL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

a robo call.. which is calling my place of employment..  I'm not sure what this is about but I've tried to call back and ask them to stop calling my work place and have gotten nowhere... UGH? any suggestions??

They also use a phone number from the area code you live in to trick you to answer, they have also used 253-210-2834.

This a Bogus company. They can take any legal action against anyone. That is illegal for a collection to say nor take any legal action. If legal action is taken it must come from the orignal creditor. They are very unprofessional and not aware of the illegal tackets they are using. If you want to resolve any credit issue contact the creditor and arrange something with them. These people are paid on comission so they will boost up the amount that is allgelly owed. You can also contact a lawyer and inform them of the illegal activity they are doing and the lawyer could sue the company on your behalf and Pow the debt is taken care of and they end up owing you something...

Got calls from 555-000-0000 and 206-418-6816 directing me to call this number, extension 1.  Claimed that "actions would be taken on my behalf" if I didn't call.  Interestingly, robocall claimed to be for someone matching my last name, but first name was garbled - I am thinking this is done intentionally to trick you into calling back.  

Note - From looking around on other, similar call reporting forums, it seems that they send their employees out to astroturf positive postings about calling back.  Guessing the first post in this thread is similar..

I recently reported another number on this site but also receive calls from this one. It may or may not be easy to resolve this problem - if I could ever get a hold of anyone I would do so, but it is illegal. This is harassment. This is in conflict with the fair debt collections protection act and those working to collect these debts should get their information straight. I have no dealings with them. I DO NOT owe anyone money!!!! This is wrong!

They said I was a "person of interest" etc., as though I was involved in a crime!!  They are a 'credit company' making up bills we don't owe!

I've recived a couple of calls from this number each time it is an automated message that doesn't even state my name, everytime it says the same thing and yet no legal action has been taken against me, maybe it's because I pay my bills and do not have any debt. And further more, If it was a legit company there is no way in hell there voicemail box would be with out there name and no way in hell it would ALWAYS be full! This has to be a scam, so retards beware!!! if you give them any information, you will soon regret it!

money gram and western union are not put in the mail its money orders that are, and any real collection agency accepts these payments, everyone who googled CCF has a brain and did not fall into your trap, and if your going to patrol these boards make sure you know what your talking about!!!

a lady by the name of ms creed called stated she had a matter she had to talk to me about and if i did'nt call it would go directly to the legal department if i did not resolve it by 8pm tomorrow eastern time the number that called was 805 204 0174 and unavailable she left this number for me to call back 1 888 895 8613 and stated she was from ccf inc i googled it and it brought me here i'm glad i did not call back!

This company contacted me for the 1st time about 2 weeks ago regarding a debt from 1995, which was already settled. The man who called me refused to give me any information regarding the suposed debt I owed besides the name of the original debtor; no balance owed, account number, etc. He told me they sent a letter in the mail back in 2006 and would not be able to put anything in writing. He was rude and attempted to chastise me for not paying my bills. I told him that if I truly owed the debt to put it in writing with all of his contact information and I would look into the matter and call him back. Once again he stressed (very rude) that he was unable to put anything in writing and I would need to go online to get any information regarding this issue. He then tried to get me to verify my social security number which I would not. Finally I told him that if he wanted his money he would need to put it in writing and send to me in the mail. Well, I have yet to get anything in writing but they keep calling. I dont answer.....

My mom got a call from this number and they told her that I was going to jail and if I didn't call back immediately a warrant would be issued for my arrest. If it is a bad check it would go to the States Attorney's office not a lawyer in NJ

I have been receiving phone calls from an unknown number for a few weeks. I answer the phone and it is a recording to "return a call or push 1 to connect to an operator." When I push the 1 key a recording comes on and states "the extension is no longer able to be left messages."  The CCF Incorp. is calling for a person, it sounds like "Rosh" is the name being asked for but I am not certain."  The person they are asking for must have had this number prior to me. The person calling is dialing my cell phone number and I have no idea who "Rosh"? is but probably won't be able to convince a person who works for CCF if I ever get to speak to one.

they called me a month or so ago saying that i owed a check advance from 5 yrs ago and it was 350 and i know that i did take out an advance. and they kept asking me and telling me i needed to pay this and i told them that my husband was out of work due to an injury and i arrangements to pay 50 a month. i ask them wat the address was and they said they dont accept money oreders through the mail cause of bombs threats so i told them i would pay with a debit card ( one that i have never used and is pre paid) and when my payment day came i didnt have the money on there and a few days later they call me from unavailible and i told them i would have to pay the following week and he said it was fine and he was gonna transfer me to the costmer service guy and this guy was rude he told me that if it came back again nsf they would bascially put out a warrant for me. So when payment day came i couldnt put the money on this one debit card and had to put it on another and i was freaking out because i had lost there nimber to contact them to tell  i had the money on a diff card well they called a few days later and i gave them my payment. now i am kinda worried i may being scammed. and another thing i toke this advance out 5 yrs ago my phone number has changed and the phone is not in my name its in my husbands

Thi company called my brother in law to contact me. I have no idea how they got hisnumber. There was a voicemail stating further action will be taken against me to please call 1888772-4172 ext. 1. I have read enough to see that this was a scam. Everyone I do owe has my cellular number. So why they would call using my brothers number is beyond me.

"they" call saying who u r , then tell u if your last # of ur S.S ends...if u say "no" the cross out your name meaning "one" less #. is like playing lottery with ur last # of ur S.S.if they call just, say that person moved out..

I keep getting calls from CCF Incorporated w/ a # of 623-505-4109

First, I am not an employee.  I received a message on my home phone asking for my husband's ex-wife, who is always in some kind of trouble with collections, she's never paid a bill in her life!  And I am always more than willing to give them her information, so I called back, the gentlemen on the other end of the line was very pleasant and accommodating, probably because I was giving him information on this loser.  Regardless of whether or not they are scum, there is a reason they have your name and are looking for you.
