Just got a call as I am speaking from these people jm...they said the same thing to me. The phone number that shows up with a different last four numbers but the same area code.  Believe me when I say that these people are scammers.  Oh about 3 or 4 years ago, I applied for a payday loan online and not reading the fine print, I checked off a box that stated "if we cannot get you approve, do you want us to send your information to a third party".  Not realizing and in need of a loan, I pressed that button.  Well now information is out there and everywhere.  I have paid back the loan with all my receipts, etc.  Do not owe anyone any money.  Well last year, I got a call from these people with heavy accents demanding that I pay or they were going to do this and that to me.  Being afraid, I paid them (stupid of me). I got my thoughts and receipts together and reported the incident to Police and they told me I should have never paid anyone any money without proof, meaning something in writing, etc. I closed my bank accounts, etc. and I noticed on my statement where the transactions took place. GOD and behold there was a telephone number attached to the transaction, so I called the number (yes I did).  I told this person on the other line that I have been involved in a scam and that you need to reimburse me back my money.  Listen to this, the guy says quote " Okaaaaaaaaay ma'am, I am going to give you your money back because I don't want to get in trouble at all behind this.  So maybe he was the innocent party working for these scammers to process their card payments, or maybe they were all in cahootz(sp) together, I don't know, but I got my money back.  Now remember, I applyed for this loan was years ago.  I am still receiving threatening calls at my job, on my cell phone and home number.  I have even change my numbers several times and they still get my number. They are scammers. Now I just look at my phone and don't answer, eventually they will get tired and move onto the next person. I have had enough with these people.  GOD sees everything believe me when I say that.  They will not have anything good coming to them doing this evil against people and causing fear and stress for people especially on their jobs.  Boy oh boy, they are a pain in the butt, stupid really.  After hearing these fools over and over and over again, I just laugh at them now. It wasn't funny in the beginning thoooooo. Thought I would share...They just left another message from the (302) 380-7512 number...Geeeesh....LOL

Got call from this phone # about visa Credit Card from 2010. Lady named Ms. Johnson was nice gave me a settlement with 60% discount.

These people call with the same recording but from lots of different phone numbers.  This voice recording does not identify who it is just that they received a fax on my civil case and they have been retained to serve me documents either at my residence or employment and I should call some number to rectify this before it goes to court and gives me some case # I can't understand the letters or numbers they give.   Have no clue.

Report them to the FBI and FTC. It will make you feel a whole lot better once you do. Kind of like you just took the trash out without being told to.
They are scum, cheats and liars. Do not fall for their crap.
Just because they say and may sound legal doesnt mean they are! Words aren't nothing without proof.
Record them. Make fun of them. Post it all on YOU TUBE. They love humiliation.

@Not Fooled, you better watch them because they will try to collect on something that you have either already paid off or something that you are currently paying off. At least that's what they are trying to do to me. Little do they know I have the account number that they had inadvertently sent to me as well as the account number that I am paying off and it's the same number.

They called me and I got accused of being an alcoholic and drug addict all because I wanted proof of the debt.

Got a call from 302-380-7512 (ultimately telling me to call 800-689-4743) claiming to be with the county process serving and summons division making threatening insinuations but acting so far out of line with the clearly documented process service laws that it's clearly another fraudster attempting to get money from me, most likely for a debt that isn't even real.  (I do have real debts but those parties don't avoid giving me the information to identify and prove the debt.)

SAME HERE THEY CALL FROM DIFFERENT NUMBER BUT HAS THE SAME VOICE AND RECORDING.

They called with an automated message that you couldn't hardly understand.  Stating that me or someone who works here was served and needs to appear in court with a case #.  I could not understand the name or the full case number.  I called the phone number back and they cannot give you any info w/o the case #.  Also the lady that "helped" me rushed me to get off the phone.
