Answered a call from this number... no one was there... I also believe this is a scam

I recieve a call from this number everyday around 2:00pm. No one ever answers. After I saw hello the other person then  hangs up. After reading the other post about this number I believe it is a automated system that is collecting numbers so later an actual telemarketer can call. I found a way to block this call by calling my phone company. It was so simple to do ,took about 2 mins. hopefully that correct this anoying call every afternoon.

Just call the number back after hours (8:00pm Central time here) and an answering machine picks up id-ing the number as the National Auto Division.  It gives you 2 options, 1 to leave a message or press 2 to opt out of calls from them.

Just got the same call...I called back and I'm on hold.....national auto division....about extended warrenty on cars...very pushy when u say u dont need their warrenty or want it....told them tp take my number off....

I received a call from this number today.  When I answered there was no response.  This has happened many times in the past.  I told person not to call again,  If this is a business or consumer call, I think they are supposed to identify themselves (the company calling).  Also, if a representative of the company (of this number) should read this post, this is notice that I do not wish to receive further calls from you, especially if you do not identify yourself on caller ID.  In my State, written or verbal notice not to call, is sufficient to stop calls.  If you continue to call, after being notified not to call, you (the person making the call as well as company officials/officers) can be charged with harassment and subject to jail time and/or fines.

Should, at some point, I need to file charges against you, this notices, among other things, will assist in your prosecution for harassment.  Please stop calling my number and provide identification as to who you are on caller ID.

I Keep getting a call from this number at least 5 times a day.... It is getting really aggravating...

The rude man asked for someone... when I told him he had the wrong number he said "what the hell" "I'll call back".  Very confusing and unprofessional.

name comes up national auto on my caller Id never leaves a message and when i answer they hang up, called back and asked why do they keep calling me and they asked for the number i was calling and i told them, they asked who i was refused to answer asked why they were calling and they said i had to identifty myself first. I told them to remove me from their list that I did not want them calling ever again, cause if they were a real company they would leave a message!
