Annoyed 2010-11-26 20:50:42 Unknown
I'm getting (excuse my language) a shitload of these messages right now. I had to turn the volume down just so I didn't have to hear it. It left nothing but an email address and a number:
jpm-esf@jpm.com
425 906 4698
The number that keeps popping up is a 4 digit number. For example 3677 or 3500. I don't have a credit or debit card so I know this is a scam.
Ecoymir 2010-08-09 18:28:33 Unknown
I get about 2 messages a day... scammers aren't even smart enough to type correctly or give legit credit card numbers.
diana 2010-07-10 15:06:04 Unknown
i got this same call today
MrBill 2010-06-29 17:41:25 Unknown
I actually do, and it just so happened that they had lucky timing because I was in the middle of buying a a brand new vehicle when i got hit with a text message... of course I knew what ever was going on could wait a little while and didn't call'm while still at the dealers. :)
MrBill 2010-06-29 17:38:59 Unknown
wow proper grammer goes along way in validating your intelligence.. Good tip, before you freak out on one of these recieved messages, read the text very carefully, took me a third time before I noticed a simple grammer error. I called the number however just to see what I'd get... it was no longer in service.. bummer, i wanted to really mess with someone today! Anyway, you can add this # to the list if it helps.
1-877-359-4812 it was sent from: notification+pk-JPM_EFS@myaccount.chase.com (probably a spoofed address anyway)

Been getting texts daily, for a couple weeks now, around 2:15 PM from "JPMorgan" also claiming my account has been deactivated. In the text they say to call 8883673070. I called the number to stop this nonsense and it's disconnected. I have an older Nextel phone which ONLY RECEIVES texts, I CANNOT text back, there is no caller ID with ANY texts I receive and I get charged for these incoming texts. What can I do? I'd like to ring their necks but I have no idea who it is or how to stop them! UGH!
Angel 2009-10-14 13:20:12 Unknown
Received the same text yesterday, twice in one day. Both messages were written a bit differently.
1st message from notice6140@messaging.nextel.com stated:
"You JPMorgan DebitCard Staring With 511182 Has Been Deactivated. Call:8883673070 To Reactivate."
These idiots didn't even know how to spell "Your" or "Starting" correctly. WOW, first lesson in SCAMMING 101....SPELL CORRECTLY if you want someone to fall for your BS!
2nd Message from service9774@messaging.sprintpcs.com stated:
"Notification:JPMorgan Prepaid MasterCard 511182*********Frozen. Call at 866-686-0988."
Both of these messages were sent via mobile texts.

My husband and I have been receiving these messages too. My cell alone has had 7 text messages since 10/4/09. Our cell phones are 917 area code but we don't live in NY anymore. We are also getting charged for these messages and want them to stop. The bogus call back numbers from my phone include: 585/331-8318, 801/494-8065, 877/860-7866, 623/207-9807, 702/553-3275, 678/831-0440 and 888/367-3070. All these texts refer to a JP Morgan EFS Debit Card as being limited or suspended. Please help us have these text messages stop.

I received a text today from the same number, 1-866-367-3070, stating it was JP Morgan and my debit card had been de-activated. Of course I do not have an account with them. When you call it only gives you the option of entering an account number.
