These people have been calling every day for the past month or 2.I warned them if they called again they would be sued for harassment because I already told them 3 times NO!!!. I had to swear at these people to leave me alone & they still Don,t!!! they will be sued ROYALLY for harassment & calling A DO NOT CALL NUMBER AS WELL !!!

They have been calling here for about  3 months.  I usually never picked up but finally did, and dead air!
When I called the number back to see who it was, there was dead air for about 15 seconds and then a
busy signal.

If the Do Not Call list isnt working call their carrier.  Which just happens to be Peerless Network.  Contact info is below

I had blocked this number through my local phone company, but I still am receiving calls displaying the number on my caller ID.  I understand there might be an underlying number that is the true number this call is coming from.  I WANT THAT BLOCKED AS WELL!!!

Discount electric power co.

This is the second time they've called.  The first time I didn't answer and they left no message on our voicemail.  Today I answered and there was no one on the other end of the line.  What a waste of my time!

Called only the one time (so far!)  Did not leave a message.  Says "ELEC" on the CID.

We get a ton of this sort of fake telemarketing call, no idea how we got on someone's list but apparently it's been passed around quite a bit.

Many calls, no one answers when I answer. Or, only 3 rings and hangs up.  Sure do wish they would stop!

Did your caller attempt to sell you goods or services and collect compensation?   Otherwise,  it has nothing to do with the DNC registry.   It is either an inquiry caller from an electric company,  a scam,  or someone phishing,  none of which has anything to do with the DNC.   Contact the FTC or FCCs.

What is the point of the Do Not Call Registry when there is no enforcement, no follow-up, and no satisfaction.  The problem is getting worse and worse and now they are calling cell phones, too.  We should be able to block numbers from our phones without waiting for someone else to fix the problem.

We have been getting these ELEC calls from the 302 number daily now for the last 2 weeks.  We are keeping a log with the date and the number of times they call, sometimes 3x a day.  Answering machine is always on and when it picks up, the person on the line keeps saying "hello, hello -- can you here me?  Hello?", then they hang up.

Same as other posts.  ELEC (on caller ID) calls continually-dead air when answering. received 6 calls today alone :-/   I am also on the do-not-call list, but that doesn't seem to matter with some of these companies that call.

Keeps calling........

This number calls me twice a day at least for the past several weeks. The few times I answered it, the line disconnected. They never leave a message. it comes on my called ID as "ELEC".

They called six times this week and did not leave a message. I finally answered and they said they were calling from a discount electricity group. I told them that I wasn't interested and to stop calling.

they called me twice in about  a half hour and no they didn't leave me a message I am so sick of these electric companies calling you trying to get you to chance  your provider.no matter how many times they call I will not answer the phone anymore and anyone who calls to asks about billing information sounds like scam to me.not interested.

I answered this call finally because I was so annoyed...the man on the phone said he was from "Discount Electric" and was calling to verify that I had received my electric bill discount.  I asked, "For what electric company are you calling for?" and he ignored that and asked if I was the main holder of the account. He said he wanted to verify my information to be sure that a discount had been applied to my account.  I said I was all set...the fact that he didn't identify himself as calling from my electric company immediately sent up red flags..."verify my information as the primary holder of the account"?  It's sad that someone might actually give out their information to these hacks.

Same as other posts.  ELEC calls continually-dead air when answering.  It is annoying especially being on the DO NOT CALL list.

They claim to be a discount electric company.  They're out of Willmington, DE.  I just can't imagine being the lowlife that sits in Delaware making these calls.

We get many of these calls.  If you have caller ID and don't know who it is, don't answer.  If you let it ring and never answer, they stop calling eventually. If you pick up, even if you don't speak, they'll look at it as a working number and call incessantly.  If it was important, they would leave a message.  DO NOT ANSWER

PLEASE DO NOT CALL ....  IMMEDIATELY STOP YOUR CALLS.

If everyone knows all about these criminal evaders and rule breakers why can they still continue to torment people

thanks for posting that. Some posters have been trying to get that accross. The number you see on your caller ID is not always the number that is really calling. Caller ID says it's you bank. Not really! NEVER give out information on the phone on a call you didn't make from the phone book, back of credit card or statement.

I had blocked the number 302-394-9707, but found it evaded the block.  A bit more checking showed the true originating number to be an international one from Denmark 45 91 21 8344.  I have had a block put on that numer as well. Will see what happens.

Caller was from a "discount" electric company. When I said I was on the "do not call" list and that h\they weren't supposed to be soliciting business, she claimed they were not and then hung up.
