Caller hung up on our answer service's OGM, which asks for caller's name, business and reason for calling. One of us spotted the Caller ID name, "Promo Legal WCA" but their number and name were autoerased within seconds, so were not recorded. I see from this blog that the same name is associated with numerous nuisance calls paced from different numbers in areas ranging from New York State and Delaware to California. Autoerasure of pestering callers' numbers (presumably to conceal any record of the nuisance) is virtually diagnostic of criminal enterprise. Frustrating! We keep a log of pest calls and, when we can identify the city and state of origin of repeat calls, we send a complaint and bill (for business interruption) to the state's AG or secretary of state.

I too keep getting this call & would Not answer it.  I too owe nothing to anyone.  I have been suspicious of this number & looked it up on the internet.  My dad has received many calls from other numbers looking for a grandson of his.  Looking on the internet there are a number of males with the same name & town.  HOW did they get my phone number, esp. when it has been unlisted for yrs.???
Only the police & hospital are allowed to have it & I KNOW they didn't give it out, nor has my daughter.  I want this to stop.

I got a call from this #.  I won't answer calls that come from unfamiliar numbers.  They stay on the line long enough for me to get a voicemail but there is nothing on it.

I found that all you have to do is answer these calls and push ########### (pound sign) as many times as possible real quick and they do stop.  I have even heard at the end.....a voice say, "we have taken you off our list"...just by pounding.  it works :)

Numerous calls from this number, No one ever answers on the other end.  When I called the number message says voice mail box not set up. I am on the "Do Not Call Registry"  and I am going to report this and other occurences.

Answered in error.  Recording said it was WCA, ambulance chaser looking for personal injury cases.  Press 3 to have number removed (from them only)

there saying there looking for a person saying he is my nefew. well never heard of the person.

Number calling my cell phone, no message left.  Wonder when this all stops??  Do not call list doesn't work, and the cell number is obviously sold to these types of people.

Company call for person not at my home. How do you stop this type of call? I am on a do not call list already. Back to back calling early in the morning, are these telemarker's?

Keep getting calls and no voice mail left. I do not answer.  Calls just started last week and I have had my number for over a year. I do not use or give out my number online for anything. I always put a different number.

This promo legal wca called.  I did not answer because I assumed it was a telemarker.  I see on the internet that they are a debt collection company.  I am unhappy because I always pay my bills on time.
