If you go to the National do not call list (.gov) on the internet to report the calls, you will get a message saying the site is closed due to the government shutdown. Scammers are taking advantage of this time to call thinking no one call file an immediate complaint

Called today.
As soon as she started talking, I told her to stop calling here and take us off their list.
I keep getting more and more each day since the gov't shutdown. Yay.

It's an insurance company calling to sell term life insurance. It is an automated call and you have to speak to get the recorded message to start playing.
