I have received more than twelve calls from 302-468-8000 in the last two hours and caller ID indicates they are from JP Morgan Chase. There is no way to call it back and speak with a human, as it is just a fax tone on the other end of the line. I did contact JP Morgan Chase's customer service center and spoke with a very professional and helpful representative who took the time to investigate where this number was originating from; as it turns out, it is NOT a number that belongs to their company. In this instance, I will have to contact my own phone company to explain the situation and have the annoying number blocked.

I believe it's JP Morgan's Short Sale line.  I sometimes receive a fax from them.  The fax number is not working for some reason, and no fax is being transmitted.  Yes, Very annoying, much like all the idiots at JP Morgan Chase.

This number has called our office 9 times within the last 2 hours - no one there.  ANNOYING!  Calling the phone company now....

1-302-468-8000 is a fax from Chase Visa.  I know this because they sent me a fax (at my request) from this phone number.

It is probably the Chase Registration desk with a confirming fax receipt.  You must have faxed something to the lock desk.  (Mortgage Dept.)

These are all Chase fax numbers.  Trying calling 800-935-9935 or 800-555-0433 to resolve the issue.

The number  302-468-8020 comes up Chase.  It was on the caller id

It makes sense that it would be a fax machine and there would be no one speaking and no tones. It is waiting for the fax machine at your number to announce that it is there. It's annoying but far less annoying as getting blasted in the ear with fax tones because the caller is expecting a fax machine.

If it is a fax, someone may have entered a phone number incorrectly by mistake, and doubt that you have much legal grounds for a complaint for an accident (except if they try 15 times :-0 )

It's been happening to me all day! It is annoying. What is their gain?

Have been receiving numerous and continuous calls for the past few days from 302-468-8000. When I answer, there is nobody on the other end, nor do the leave a message. When I call back it sounds like a fax on the other end.

I have been getting calls all day from 302-468-8020, 302-252-9004, 302-468-8000, 302-252-3218, -9020.  I have received at least 15 calls and there is noone at the other end.  The  call ID says from Delaware

Calls are from a fax server at JP Morgan Chase.  
I received a fax intended for some one else.

THIS NUMBER CONTINUES TO CALL ALL DAY, EVERY 5 MINS OR SO,  WHEN I CALL THE NUMBER BACK, IT'S A FAX.  HAS ANYONE BEEN ABLE TO STOP THE CALLS?

It's 7:45 am!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've gotten stupid calls all morning!!!! And now I can't go back to sleep!

I hope it's not something like The Ring ... I don't want to die in 7 days...

More than 15 calls in 90 minutes from these numbers with no one speaking nor leaving a message.  Report has been made to the telephone company and the attorney general's office.  A trap will be placed on the line.

Has called my office 5 times within 1 hour and nothing.  No noise, no voices, no anything.  VERY ANNOYING.  Then 15 minutes after call number 5 another call came in from 302-468-8020.  Same thing.
