Received an automated call from 302-483-7032 - a man calling himself John Stratton regarding an arbitrary resolution.  There is pending litigation against me and I must respond within 48 hours & to call 888-259-2437.  I called the 888 number & spoke with Shay who, when I said I wasn't the person she named, she did not live here, and I'd had this number for 3 years, told me she'd been doing this for 15 years and this other person's name was on the caller ID.  I told her I didn't care what her caller ID said and repeated I wasn't this person, she didn't live her & I'd had this number for 3 years.  Shay said I would continue to get calls until the matter was resolved to their satisfaction.  When I asked what company she was calling for, she said the court system.  When I asked which court system (Federal, District, State), Shay said that didn't concern me and hung up.  So I called the 302-483-7032 & spoke with Renee.  She asked if I was this other person and I said no, she didn't live here & I'd had this number for 3 years.  Renee said she'd remove the number.  It appears the scammers' left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing *g*

Don't fall for it! It's a scam! You owe these fools nothing and do not have to pay! So much of this going on constantly our Attorney General's office won't even get involved and told us just to hang up and not reply...DO NOT PAY THESE IDIOTS ANYTHING!!! Call your phone company provider for help or your State's Attorney General office for assistance (to see if your state can file a complaint against them).

These dumb pricks keep calling me, I've gotten to the point now where I have fun with them because I know they're liars and thieves, it's a scam and not legitimate.

These people are crooks, they are liars and they cannot take anything from you. The only way is if you give them your ssn or Credit card or debit card numbers.

They've called me too. In fact about a year ago they were calling my mother-in-law on her mother who had died of cancer like 3 yrs earlier!  It's disgusting the jobs people will take and the things people will do. I ticked the girl off today and now she's just calling me every 20 minutes just to make me mad. Even asked me what I was going to do about it?!?  Wish this could be like the trap on TV for the child molesters where it's a set-up and we get to watch them on camera get busted!

Sir you are fine. Stop answering the phone if you do not know the phone number that is calling you. If you do answer the phone and anyone threatens you for any reason hang up on them. Real debt collectors do not threaten people and they also do not normally call more than one time a day or even a week. These people are trying to scare you and trick you so don't tell them anything and do not pay them any money or give them any information. Just do not talk to them. Good luck!

It's a bogus scam, Sherry!  Don't let them get you upset.  These people have been calling me from different states and phone numbers for 2 years now.  I don't owe money to the company they claim I do (a payday loan place).  I've never been served with paperwork by my county in the 2 years they've been threatening me.  I was stupid and talked to them the first time they called and now that they know they got a good number, they keep calling.  Just ignore them.

I have been getting calls everyday, sometime more than once. They are very rude and threatening to freeze my bank account and are going to file charges to take me to court. I am 65 and live only on my disability check. I tried talking to these people and they are extremely rude and when I ask questions, they hang up on me. PLEASE HELP ME.

Been getting these calls since the beginning of February. So far 6 different numbers.... FL, UT, & CT area codes. All from Arbitration Mediators but different people. Leaves a computer generated voice mail stating 48 hrs to take care of debt or your residing county will file charges.  When I spoke to a person they were extremely rude and said Bank of America was suing me for credit card fraud.  I don't do business with BofA and have no outstanding debt. This is a scam and now becoming harassment. I have blocked their numbers and they just call from new ones. I no longer answer calls from unknown numbers.

I have been called repeatedly by this number after telling them, repeatedly,  not to call. Everyone seems to be a "supervisor" and they all have very nasty attitudes. Threatened to file criminal charges against me. When I pointed out that A.  You can't file criminal charges,  it would be a civil matter and B.  It is illegal to threaten criminal charges when trying to "collect" a debt, she told me "good luck" and hung up.  And as far as I'm aware, legally, anyone calling to collect a debt must inform you at the beginning of the call..."this is an attempt to collect a debt....."  I would think these jack***es would know the "basics"

It is a scam. Formerly Davis and associates in Yorba Linda Ca. Same script, same threats, just different number.

I got a call from them saying there would be litigation against me - all of our bills are paid on time and we have no legal issues with anyone - what a scam and a bunch of B.S.

It's a scam, trying to convince you that you are about to be sued unless you take action within 48 hours. Don't answer. Supposedly from a company named "Arbitrary Mediation" (LOL!). I got 3 calls since yesterday, never answered but he leaves a voicemail. Each time my "case number" is different.  This scam has been around for a while now, I first got calls from somewhere in KS, then CT, now DE.

No message just hangup.
