I also received the same letter. It came in the mail today.
I travel alot, so maybe its linked to my travel magazine or
something? I may have the wife call it, if it looks interesting
to her.

I called and it seems legitimate. I'm going Wednesday to pick up the tickets with my husband.
Tasha 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
Im glad to know im not the only one going. They said there would
be other residents. Me and my husband will be attending this
weekend.
Zachary 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown

I received the same letter, offering 2 roundtrip airline tickets w/ value of $1400. Postmarked from Phoenix with a expiration date of Nov 4. I called the number in my letter 214.269.9119 (North Texas area code) and the office was closed. Letter signed by Loretta Sage. I'd be wary of this one unless someone can provide additional info.
Friezet 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I also received this letter but was vary about calling. The letter says that you have qualified for the award, not that you won it. I could not find anything on the Better Business Bureau website.
Toni 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
We received the letter, too -- no phone call. Nothing "real" on the contact website on bottom of page. Be careful as all our "free airline tickets" have turned out to be "pay $35/person to get your tickets before you even find out if you can get the destination and dates you want". This may be a travel club presentation (Good Times, SunTree, Great Escape) where they use left-over timeshares. Only problem, some of the places are dumps and it's hard to get desirable times. Haven't been able to get anyplace around Corpus Christi TX, just South Padre, lots of places in middle of nowhere TX.

Received a letter from these folks asking us to call the number 302-526-5142 to receive 2 airline tickets. They want you to attend a 90 minute hard-sell presentation, give them your driver's license and major credit card and you have to pay $35 for each ticket that has so many restrictions and black-out dates that you're never going anywhere. Rip up the letter and lose the phone number.

Got the same letter with the 302 phone number and my husband called. They said they are located in Wilmington and wanted us to come down at 2 pm this afternoon. Goggled the name and Thanks but No Thanks! Thank Goodness for the internet!
Sarah 2011-06-06 20:44:49 Unknown
I just received this letter in the mail about 2 airline
tickets seems pretty interesting anyone else get it?
I want to call but wanted to see if anyone else had.

Heh, in response to
Skidmark "LOL! It's a scam!!!!! If your interested call this number and collect your free boat 1-888-382-5968. I looked them up on the web. It's a scam to get you to call so they can try to sell you some crap."
Funny when a scam phone number spells out 1888-F***-you. 382-5968. heh.

I received the letter and gave them a call. They assured me it's a brief presentation but not a time share deal. When the woman I spoke with pressed me for scheduling an appointment, I replied that I just didn't think I'd have time any time soon. She then berated me for wasting her time explaining it to me and hung up on me.
If they are a legitimate company, they need to learn to interact with the public a little better.

got a letter 11/9/09, no phone call, even though it says they've been trying to contact me. 302 area code phone number. I'm single and I'm sure they wont't accept me, even if I wanted to get roped into a sales pitch, which I sure don't!
Flipperjack 2009-11-11 01:36:09 Unknown
I just spoke to them also. The letter is printed up with a master list and variable data to populate the "please call me today" phone number, and the name(s) and address fields at the top. Otherwise...lots of suckers are getting this letter. If you think about it....they only start with a name and address which is usually public info. When you call them they juice you for a phone number and email address. They tell you to have DL and credit card for the meeting. If you go, you will have given them your:
Name
Home address
phone number
e-mail address
drivers license number
credit card
I am assuming that this would be enough information to screw up your credit 4ever....No Thanks....I say that we pay them back by posting the phone numbers on some other autodialing system and have them call each other......anyone else down for this.....please post autodial numbers!
The number that I needed to call was 817.204.0579

No call, but I received a letter as well from Stevens Cole. However, it was sent to my parents' house, where I haven't lived for quite some time. I did everything that everyone else has pretty much done...read the letter, Googled the company, did reverse look-up on the phone #, checked out the website, etc. I also called. The number on mine was the 302-526-5142, which is Newark, DE, and I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. I asked for Loretta Sage and was informed by "Patrick" that she wasn't in but that he could help me. He said they were a new travel agency and that they're just trying to get their name out and the airline tickets were a free gift for checking them out. There was nothing to buy, they just wanted me to listen to a 60-90 minute presentation and it was very informal and "fun" and if I liked what they had to say, to tell my friends about them. I said I'd have to talk to my husband, as Newark isn't exactly around the corner from where we lived. He said no problem and to call back whenever and just ask for him. I'm thinking Time Share scam or something along those lines. Either way, I'm not gonna waste my time or Patrick's time as I really have no intention of sitting through a talk and then being pressured into buying something with money I don't have (did that a few times to get "free stuff" and in the end it was never worth it)!

South Carolina. We don't get these calls but the privacy director has been working overtime lately. Today we got the letter and the first thing I discovered was this Blog. Thanks for all the help. I am on the way to the shredder.

We've been receiving calls from this same company, though from 817-204-0579. We don't answer calls from numbers we don't know... But today we got the same letter in the mail that others mention above. Don't call them, and don't answer when they call!
freddie 2009-11-09 21:19:46 Unknown
I didn't get a call, although the letter says they tried; I am on the Do Not Call list.
The letter from Loretta Sage arrived on 11/9/09. The envelope was hand addressed in college what I consider female teenage or college-age printing. The letter was printed on nice (24 lb.) paper with a very small logo and a list of their state locations, email address, and web site on the bottom. I checked out the web site - that music was annoying, the web page was not informative, and was last updated in 2007 . Her letter was dated 11/2/09, postmarked in Phoenix on 11/5/09, and expires 11/11/09. The number to call is (302) 526-5146.
It looked like a scam, thanks for the affirmation/confirmation.

Got the same Stevens/Cole letter dated Oct 26th postmarked from Phx, sent to me in Tucson, had to reply by Nov. 4. Number to call Loretta Sage on this one was 866-981-5710. It was on cheap paper with a letterhead clearly from a home printer... not typical business stationery at all.
Definitely a scam so did NOT go to their website, email or call them, especially from a cellphone. Good way for scam operators to get my personal info.

My mother got a letter from Stevens Cole saying she qualified for airline tickets. I'm quite amazed at this since she has been dead for almost 10 years.

I'm out of work, and I can't afford anything like this! I did call, but when asked if I made over $40,000 a year, and I replied no....LOL He couldn't get off the phone fast enough....so if they are giving this away...but only if you have money already....LOL What a rip off! Glad I didn't get sucked into this.
Skid Mark 2009-11-06 19:57:07 Unknown

Ha...i got pulled in by my wife too.
She decided we going to Cali to visit the inlaws...
not looking forward to it.
We attended a few days ago, so since i did my search on here like a week ago i figured id come back on and tell yall bout it.
Its a presentation, but wasnt like a timeshare presentation. (Ive been to to many of those before). So it was not that bad.
