whoever it is  better not call again...period

I just received a call from this number around 11:45 A.M. I am in northern Delaware and I nearly picked up the phone because the number that the call was originating from is a local number.

Instead, I did a quick Google search and found this place with dozens of complaints regarding the same number. I'm glad I wasn't tricked into answering the call.

This number call atleast 3 times a day sometimes within 1 hour apart and noone answer so I just pick up and hang up

We receive calls from this number and when we answer they hang up and when I call back they won't answer or it is busy so I decided to google the number and found all these comments from other people who are being bothered by these people. Semms like something could be done to stop them but don't know what. What is their problem?

I've received numerous calls from this number but after a few rings it just hangs up. Unable to reach anyone when I attempted to call number back. Thought I signed up for national do not call list, but apparently that doesn't work!

I rec several calls from this 544-7130 and other numbers coming from this location all beginning with 544-71xx. The calls are coming from Atlantic Water Products in New Castle De. They are pushing Rainsoft but claim to be conducting a water survery. They constantly call and hang up. I would suggest calling them at 302-326-1166 and speaking to Melissa who apparently is in charge of the telemarketing. I had the pleasure recently. I am on the do not call list but apparently according to Melissa it does not apply to them. I would also suggest reporting them to the proper consumer agencies.

SUCCESS!!!  I answered on the first ring tonight and the girl got out as much as the company she was calling from.....Atlantic Water!  I interupted her to ask her why she was calling and the call was disconnected.

I googled the company and found out that they're local....based in New Castle Delaware.....I called their offices back and asked if they telemarketed---they admitted "YES" and confirmed the numbers (544-7131, 7133 and 7138 are the ones that call here daily).  I DEMANDED that they take our phone# out of their system.  We're on the National Do Not Call list, and I SWEAR, if they call here again.....I WILL file a complaint with the FCC

I used to get calls from "Heather from account services" and if I asked any questions (even their address or company name) they would hang up and then call back repeatedly.  I read in the news that their company owner was finally put in jail over this operation, but strangely, I just got another call from "Heather from Account Services" this week, and now am getting " Atlantic Water " from 1 302-544-7131  calling me as well.

If everyone reports these, it can go to the attorney general and they can use it to prosecute.

These folks call constantly.  I am so annoyed when I call back and get either a busy signal or someone just hangs up on me.  I won't be answering this one for awhile.

I have been recieving calls from this number to as I live in Delaware.  We have told them to take us of the list, but they still call.  I'm glad I looked this number up online b/c now I know not to answer at all!!

I've been getting annoyed by the same callers - after reading these posts, I'm wondering if they are getting our phone numbers from Home Depot.  I didn't start getting these calls until I bought a fridge from them.

This number calls me EVERY DAY!!!!!! I answered once before a few months ago and they wanted to do a water survey. When I said I wasn't interested, she immediately hung up. She called again and I asked for them to remove me and she hung up when I was in mid-sentence! I don't know what to do, they hang up too fast for you to tell them not to call back!!!

Ah yes, it is definitely someone from a water company.  They have called me for a couple of months now from a few different numbers that all start with 302-544-71**.  Fortunately, this is happening on my Skype number so I am able to block them and also report abuse.  It's great!  Maybe they will find something else to do after awhile.

Has anyone filled out a chance to win anything from a  Home Depot or Lowes?  Another # to watch out for is 302-544-7126.  They called me and said i won a drawing from Home Depot and thats how there getting the phone #'s to call.  A Man said Artesian Water was gonna come out and do a testing and would bring a gift card to Home Depot and a $25 gas card as well   WATCH OUT

This person is obviously crazy!!!!  Making these calls to people for over a year...If they call my house one more time, i am contacting athorities.  They ask for my husband or I then hang up when I question who's calling.  I call back & they hang up, busy signal or rings w/ no machine!  I am getting real pissed at this disruptive calling and will have to take action if it happens again!!!!!!!  Stop this damn jenny from her immature actions...get a life jenny!

Hello,  This idiot keeps calling my house as well. Her name is Jenny Tacket or Ailene Mello. I hang up before she gets any information. She always claims she is from the Water Company and it is a survey about water quality. I will bet she has called me over 50 times. Each time we tell her we will not answer any questions over the phone. She knows my name and my husbands name. I do not know what to do about it. It can be reported to the phone company.  She is a terrible pest!

Received a call from this number at 7:01 pm.  They left no messages and when I called back the phone rang but nobody answered.  I left the phone ring about 50 times just to annoy them.  If it continues I will contact the authorities.

Yeah, I've been getting these calls once in a while for the past few months, not sure what the point of it is... no way to hack or scam someone by calling and hanging up, so she must just be insane.  Is it true, thats the name on the account?  Jenny Tacket?

I received a phone call at 7:11 PM.  They did not leave a message.  I will not pick up the phone from a number that I do not know.

these people and a few others have somehow gotten my mothers cell phone number, mine, and now my home phone. if anyone has any luck filing a complaint on them or anything let me know how. this is absurd. i looked it up and it says that it's coming from a land line in new castle, delaware, and the phone company is Snip Link, Llc.

I'm also receiving calls from 544-7130. I also tried calling back and the person just hangs up

I actually got a call from this number just now @ 6:58pm.  I was actually getting this call for months, several times a day, and then it finally stopped, and now appears to be starting up again.  The only difference is that it was originally on my cell phone, and now it is starting on my home phone as well.  I guess some people have nothing better to do than call and mess with people.  I actually think it is sad that someone would have nothing else better to do than pick up the phone and call a complete stranger!!

ON 4/26/08 THEY CALLED ME AT 12:20.  i DID NOT ANSWER.  OUT OF MY LAST 30 CALLS I HAVE 14 FROM NUMBERS STARTING 302-544-71--  THEY DO NOT LEAVE MESSAGES AND THEY DO NOT PICK UP WHEN I CALL BACK.  IT IS EITHER BUSY OR IT DOES NOT RING. I FIND IT VERY ANNOYING AND I THINK IT IS HARRASING.  I AM GOING TO CONTACT MY PHONE COMPANY AND POSSIBLY THE AUTHORITIES TO FILE A COMPLAINT.  DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?  I HAVE THE NUMBERS AND DATES AND TIME DOCUMENTED

Called today at 7:18pm - said hello, and they hung up - looked them up on msn and they are a landline phone with no subscriber info like ie Verizon etc.  Called them back and they hang up when call is answered.  I am also on do not call list.

I received a call from this number at 8:15 pm, it is very annoying to have calls and no one will answer you.

these jerks keeping call me from the #302-544-7131...has anyone else received calls from them?  i consistently report them as i am on the "do not call registry"...i'm glad to see that that's working well!  i try to call back so to figure out who is making these calls, but the number doesn't even seem to work (no rining on the other end). i have lawyers in my family and i may have to resort to using them as this is getting ridiculous!
