Thank you for the kind words, Barrry, but also thank WhoCallsMe.com for providing this forum, and especially, thanks to Google Voice for providing the call recording and web page display tool to present the recordings to you.

Brilliant John, I loved your recordings. I wish I had the time to play with the telemarketers like that. Keep up the good work.

Had a card account. There are no problems currently with your account. It is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9% your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number one on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rates, or press the number 3. To discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day.

Rachel from "Credit Card Services." "There is nothing wrong with your account but you can reduce your interest rates . . . ."
Robocall and violating the Do Not Call list, total losers. Do not do business with them.
Call is likely spoofed VOIP, so call blockers will probably not work.
These low life scum are identity thieves and trying to get your credit card information. Do not do business with them, do not press any number to be removed (it just confirms your number)
If you are on the DNC list, report them at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Con to "lower your interest rate"- automated. Garbage
Recently changed my phone to not ring and go directly to generic answering machine so it would capture their robo messages. I am soooo fed up with the non stop calls all day. Considering getting rid of my home phone....
Blocked and reported

Just got a call from this number...
| St Paul MN is Sick of Scammers 2014-03-10 20:56:02 Unknown |
got robocall from 302-764-3176 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Monday 03-10-14 @ 229 PM.
The above call came right after robocall from 941-803-4666 @ 226 PM that got disconnected.
Good old Rachel from Card Member Services message and yes I did press "1" to talk to these morons.
Female came on the line and I did not give her much of a chance - I played at full blast my "Raunchy Cussing/Swearing YouTube Rant" on my computer. She bailed so quickly the "Rant" did not get much past the 15 second mark before the disconnect beeping was heard.

I just received a call from this number stating they were from Card Services...I knew it was a scam and hung up and blocked the number. The do not call list is totally useless!

Auto call from our old fiend "Rachel from Cardholder Services" (That's not a typo: "fiend" not "friend").
I just can't wait to counter-scam them... Keep 'em on the line, give 'em a fake cred-card number, send 'em chasing their own tail.
Pressed "1" but got nobody. I hope it's because all their agents were busy being counter-scammed and not because someone was giving them real information by which to be ripped off.
I know we complain about the "Do Not Call" being useless, but at least it's keeping the "honest" annoying callers away, and so you know that any callers that get through are ignoring it and are crooks.
If the NSA is so thoroughly monitoring everything, you'd think they'd be empowered at least to disconnect these crooks' phone service or maybe better still to order a massive missile strike against their equipment and boiler rooms. Best of all would be to find the masterminds behind the crooks and bring 'em down...
Well, a fella can dream, can't he?

RACHEL AT CARD MEMBER SERVICES. THIS WAS A DO NOT CALL LIST VIOLATIONS. MY CREDIT CARD COMPNAIES ARE ONLY SUPPOSED TO COMMUNICATE WITH ME IN WRITNG, NOT OVER THE PHONE. I REPROTED RACHEL AS A DO NOT CALL LIST VIOLATION.

Picked up the phone - the recorded message about credit cards. Did not have an opportunity to respond as they hang up after recorded message was done. Have reported to DOJ the violation of DoNotCall.

Jus got a call from 302-764-3176. Caller ID said "Wilmington DE." Recorded female voice called herself Rachel and wanting me press 1 to speak to a representative to lower my CC rates. At the end she said to press 3 to discontinue further calls. I pressed 3 so we will see if they call again.

Had a voice mail from this company claiming to be able to reduce my mortgage rate to 6.25%. Not much of a deal, since mine is already lower than that. Not only that, but they don't give the name of their organization, and it's the whole "Dial 1 to connect to a representative. Dial 2 if you want to be removed from our list." nonsense.
Since it also shows up as "unknown name", I elected to ignore them.
| Peter 2014-03-07 01:45:18 Unknown |
As the message from the card service scammers says "there are no problems currently with your account" --but for those fooled by their calls, they will soon notice BIG PROBLEMS with their account! BEWARE of these slimy creatures!
| Tom 2014-03-07 00:29:13 Unknown |
We all need to realize the "card services" scammers is NOT a legitimate business, but outright criminals---criminals do not obey laws, including the do not call lists. In my experience, the do not call lists have worked nearly perfectly--the only unwanted calls we get are from fraudulent enterprises. Simply receiving these calls can be an annoyance, but think of the people that are not aware of the purpose of these lowlife's calls, and have been cheated out of hundreds, if not thousands of dollars!

(302) 764?317?6 Robo call recorded 06 March 2014 ("This is Rachel...reduce your rate...consider this your final notice..." Credit Card SCAM)
Caller ID: "Wilmington DE"
Also called recently from: (757) 264-1254 | (310) 318-1250 | (310) 821-8963 | (385) 208-8809 | (706) 805-1776 | (360) 322-6708 | (616) 980-2164 | (616) 980-2063 | (616) 980-2030 | (616) 613-2228 | (215) 383-3414 | (415) 333-9999 | (281) 966-5793 | (616) 613-2199 | (305) 389-5335
"Rachel" didn't wait very long since "Heather's" last call from a different number, even after assuring me, "...consider this your final notice..."
Yeah, I wish.
I also chuckle because I noticed they corrected their poor grammar used on previous calls "...There's no problems currently with your accounts..." (their script writer finally fixed the use of a singular verb with the plural subject).
Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethic, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of their latest offering:
[female voice] "Hello, this is Rachel at Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent, however, that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press the number 3 to discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

These scammers call us at least 6 times a week. Usually they hang up after 1 or 2 rings. The numbers are spoofed and changed constantly. Recently, they have taken to using some numbers which appear to be nearby residential numbers. Think that these scammers have called us at least 1000 times over the last few years. We have the ability to block up to 100 numbers, don't answer unknown numbers, but NOTHING stops these criminals from calling. These folks are completely evil... and run a number of different scams. They place millions of calls a day, and no one is stopping them.

I am on both the totally worthless national and Florida DNC lists. I bought a $60 Panasonic KX-TG6841B Expandable Digital Cordless Answering System with Handset from Adorama, which has blocking capacity of 250 numbers. I do not answer my phone unless I recognize the number or they leave a recognizable message and blocked over 100 numbers in just a few months - that's an average of two numbers every three days - and it is not even the political season yet. The system also blocks calls from phone number "1" which cannot be recorded on this site and has so far called me 6 times.
I have no horse in the race of trying to sell call blocking devices - other than to put these telemarketing a-holes out of business.
More proof that telemarketers are hypocritical pond scum...
