Same modus of operandi. Caller asked for owner by name, asked if he was in. Since he is not, I replied that he was out of town, if I could help? He replied that it was a personal matter and needed to know when he would be back... Umm No. His travel agenda is never set, other than his family or close relations, no one knows. I simply said I could take a message and forward to the owner by email (if it was personal) . I guess this made him see more options and asked me for "K"s cell phone number. Of course HE ALREADY HAD IT, just not right at hand, and it would be quicker for me to pass to him.. Again.. NO. No message? Okay then, call back later and lets do this again...nothing more exciting than making you waste your time, as well as mine. Pfshh, get a real job!

Got a call from "Tim Dovan" of the Dovan Company. Asked to speak to owner, called him by his first name. I said he had someone in his office. He said he was returning a call, and to tell him it was Tim on the phone, and he'd speak to him. I interrupted my boss twice, and my boss had never heard of the guy. I told "Tim" once again that he doesn't know who he is, and I asked him to leave a number. He said, "I was told to call him by 2:00. What time is it?" It was 3:00. Ummm. Sorry dude. I told him I'd be glad to take a message, and he said, "This is an important legal matter." I said, "Okay, so leave your number." He refused. What a butt.

Guy was a idiot very foward and rude. Wanted the owner, when i told him he wasnt here he wanted a different number he could reach him at asked to take a (throw away) message he hung up.  *69 gave me this number which is no longer in service  lol

A women calling herself Shae said she was suppose to call the owner at 9:30 and asked me what time it was.
Then I said he was on the other line she said she would hold. I said No I can take a message and he will get back with you what is your company name and how can he reach you. She said I said I would hold and I asked he 3 times to leave a message and she refused. I said please leave a message I do not know how long he will be and she was very rude. And said this is confidental and a legal matter. And she would not hold she needed to talk to him NOW. So I got Boss on the phone and she was trying get him tell her our information of any past due accounts. She wanted to know there names and contact information. He said right now we have no one but what would the fee be on like $ 5,000.00 if they were past due. She said No I need a customer info not a dumby amount.
They probably  want the info and then they would collect and keep the money.
SHE was extremely rude!!!!!!!!!!!  Please be alerted DO NOTGIVE HER ANY INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!

Exact same thing, same scenario two minutes ago!

Today I had a call from "Chris regarding an urgent legal matter. He must speak to the "owner" of the company about the matter immediately. I identified myself as the owner and told him that his call was all BS and terminated the call. Strange,  he did not know my name.

Well, just got a call from this number and this time, he said he was 'Matt with Hoover'.
The last time he called, (see my post above), it was 'Chris' with 'Slaughter and Son'.

The caller - "Scammer Todd" said he had a conference call with _____ (CEO's first name) and it was regarding a confidential legal matter.  Amazing how Todd didn't have the CEO's direct line or cell phone....Disconnected the call with Scammer Todd.

This phone number- 303-214-6292 should be disconnected!!!!!!!!! I just got the rudest phone call from some man demanding to speak to the owner. He would not tell me his name and instantly became enraged. How do I go about reporting this number and to whom do I report? Scam, scam, scam!!!!

Said he was a collection agency wanting to know who he could hire me to collect from. When I told him no one owed me money but thanks anyway he got SUPER snippy and said  "... I mean no disrespect but you must be living in a fantasy world!"  I told him I live in a world on vampires and zombies and it's WONDERFUL!

Caller asked for Owner of company, I asked what it was regarding, "Confidential legal matter" I asked who was calling "Put the owner on the phone" I said if this is a legal matter then you would know who our Owner is. "I know you have a job to do, but so do I, PUT THE OWNER ON THE PHONE!!!" I said no, but I can take a message. "What is your name?" I gave him my name "I am reporting you on this too" I laughed and hung up on him. IDIOT. True legal representatives know who they're calling for!!!!

Just took a call from the number from "John" at "Dawson".  Tried the same thing, except he asked for the former president of the company, whom, by the way, hasn't been president for at least the past 5 years.  He butchered the French pronunciation of his name which was completely laughable, then proceeded to inform me that he's dealt with him for years.  All I kept responding to him was that I was not at liberty to provide him with the new president's name.  Then he yells at me "Give me the name now - it's a matter of public record!"  To which, I promptly disconnected the call.  Take that, a**hole.

Had exact same call as some stated above. Whoever the loser is, he should find something else to do because he obviously sucks as a scamer or what ever he thinks he is.

Instantly demanded to talk to an owner by name.  This owner does not work out of the location he called so I tried to take a message.  Would not leave his name and kept demanding to talk to "D".  Caller ID showed this # but no name.  No matter how I phrased I could help him and/or take a message, he got beligerant, would leave no details or name or message.  At that point I asked if I had offended him in some way for him to be instantly hostile only to hear, "you can stop wasting my d... time and get "D" for me.  No pleasing this P.O.S.  And as my spouse says, karma is a B.... bro.

This person just called and didn't say anything.  Thanks for the heads up when he calls back!

I just got this same exact call from this number. The guy who called said his name was 'Chris' and he insisted to speak to the owner of the company and said its regarding a "personal legal matter". I refused to transfer him as I had a hunch that this was another telemarketing using bulling tac tics...

Same thing... he was JUSTIN w/ PARK SERVICES and demanded to speak to the owner who he didn't even address correctly. Wanted to know if he was in the office, etc.  He refused to leave a message and demanded that he talk to him at that moment because he was expecting his call at 11:45 and to put him on the phone immediately....   He sat on hold until he hung up... CALL BACK AND YOU WILL GET THE SAME TREATMENT.

What a busy boy! Called me and also insisted on speaking to Mr. ____, the owner. I offered my assistance,ever so politely...when he rudely said it was a "personal legal matter"  I put him on hold ...perminately. At least I ran his long distance up alittle, and he can't irritate me. Idiot, he had the owner!

NEVER answer a call from this number! I've never had such a rude caller in my years as a receptionist. Unbelievably pushy and rude. Called himself "Chris". I call him "BLOCKED."

Just got the call.  Can't even remember his name, (not that interested).   He said is this...........?   If you stutter over the name of the company, I know what I am dealing with. I said I can help you.  He paused & said No I need like the president.  In my stern irritated voice, I said I can help you.  He hung up.  He actually HAD the owner of the company on the phone.  My husband & I own & operate this place.  It's okay he was 2 seconds away from being hung up on himself.  We are debt free to this nonsense about debt collection would have been laughable.

Caller said his name was Matt with the Hoover Company.  Tried to get the boss.  Not happening on my watch.  LMAO

YOU are the bottom feeder.  Scam callers trying to get the boss on the phone.  So funny listening to you scammers stutter and stammer and spit through the phone when you can't get through.  Makes my workday very satisfying to stop even ONE call from getting through.  You nasty scammers need to get a real job.

Don't waste my time, buddy. Anyone that calls from an out of state phone # and asks for one of the owners by first name is suspicious and I'm glad I didn't waste any time on you. I love to hang up on your type - rude, obnoxious, don't give a crap about what people are doing on the other end of the phone, LIARS, and I repeat, LIARS, act like you know the owner by calling him by first name. That is disrespectful, buddy!

I also just received a call from "Chris - with Slaughter & Sons" - I have call display so my guard was up when I answered.
He asked for the owner by name - I said "He only returns phone calls - I'd be happy to take a messge" He RUDELY said "He told me to return HIS call by 11:00 - so tell him it's Chris and stop wasting my time!"
I said "That's weird - he's been out of town for a week and it's 8:30am here...nice try though"
He then proceeded to say he'd call his personal number and would be filing a complaint about me LOL

There is no way this is a debt collector FYI - - my boss has stellar credit and a business that does very well.

Guy asking for the owner of the company without introducing himself, i ask who is this? he says "Gary, wheres the owner?" - he was asking abt a guy who stopped 5 yrs ago so that already makes one suspicious as its evident he has done no research whatsoever.. When i tell him its a stocklistet company he wants the ceo, when i tell him he cant just talk to the ceo and i ask what its about he says: "its confidential, ill call back" - total douche rhetoric thru and thru, i feel bad ppl are working such crap jobs..
