18+calls in less than 3 days...excessive.

It sounds like somebody lied on a credit card application.  They gave a false phone number - yours.  Tell the caller that and say "you have GOT to stop calling me.".

Thats how I got rid of my pest.  For me it was a car loan and the liar was named Michael.  Which explains my user name.

I do not have a lane Bryant card, nor have I ever shopped with them. I have no idea why they are calling me. like another message mentioned they asked for a name I have never heard of before, and I said no this is not her number and no I do not know who she is, I have had my number for 4 years. and my number is also a new exchange so no one has had it before me. WTF

My friend answered the phone at one point cause they call at least 10 times a day and they wouldn?t tell him what it was in regards to.  they never leave a message and from reading the other comments I to have a lane bryant card but I have literally only been to the store once and I owe nothing so I don?t understand why they would call so much I went ahead and just sent all the phone number they call me from straight to voice mail! i dont know what else i could do.......

this number call me about 20 time a day they do not answer the phone when i call back if it a bill they need to send me one by us mail

This is a collection agency.  Calls come several times a day with many not answered when picked up. The person they are looking for has never lived here.

No, incoming calls do not cost them $5 per call. They are mostly per minute rates and a small fee for the number. My company paid $2 a month for the number and 2 or 4 cents a minute, and that with virtually no volume at all. Have thousands of callers and you get per minute rates that are way lower.

I haven't had any problems with this number until this passed week. Its annoying the crap out of me b/c they call in the middle of the night or early morning.

Contact BBB and it will stick more.  The name of the company is World Financial.  They have no caller ID, are very evasive when speaking to them, and use different area codes to keep calling you and harrassing you.  It's so they can get around the law.  In Mass they can only call two or three times a week and my bill is NOT in collections.  It's awful and I am cancelling my account with Lane Bryant over this.  Contact BBB through email and they will make complaint public, but not your name.  They also make the company respond to your complaint only through them.  It makes a company look bad to get so many public complaints from BBB.  Let's do it and show World Financial we are sick of it.  It's not collections or anything; they lump it all together.  Good paying customers.  Stores associated with them are Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug plus, Catherines, etc.  Good stores, but awful credit card company, Bank.  Spread the word.

Contact BBB and go to their website.  This is unlawful.  No caller ID and more than one call a day.  It's World Financial.  They called me today at 8:26am using a 913 area code out of Kansas City, KS.  Then again at 10:00am using a 303 #.  It's World Financial and this one is out of Colorado.  I am sending a second complaint to BBB.  They will handle it and the company will not contact you personally.  They make World Financial respond to the complaint and ask what you want the outcome to be.  Then the complaint goes public for all to know.  Please spread this to everyone you know.  World Financial handles credit cards for Catherines, Lane Bryant, and other good stores.  Fashiion Bug Plus, etc. Not right and not fair.  Unlawful.  Let BBB know.

This is World Financial.  Put in the # that contacted you in Google and find out what city and state.  Then go to BBB website and report it.  They are known for this and they will call you again using another # from another state, like 913, which is in Kansas City, KS.  I reported to BBB and am doing it again now.  First call at 8:26am and second call at 10:00am.  Same company and I am not in collections.  New customer to Lane Bryant not even 3 months in.  Payment late by 1 week only.  Complain.  They will not contact you personally, but only email through BBB.  This # is Colorado.

Woman refused to identify herself when I asked who was calling.  Said that she wanted to discuss "a business matter".    I told her not to call me at work ever again, to send me a letter regarding whatever her concern is, and hung up on her.  This is harassment, pure and simple, and the only thing that makes me feel a little better is to wonder exactly how competent and cost-effective companies like this are in today's economy when so many people are seriously suffering.  I would love to see low-lifes like this go bankrupt their very own self and be on the receiving end of karmic retribution and harassment.

They keep calling and have never left a message. The times that I have answered the phone, ?there has never been anyone on the other end of the line?. After finding this website I called Lane Bryant and emailed them with complaints. As of today I have a zero balance with Lane Bryant and have stopped shopping for my family at their store because of all the problems. In my phone call to Lane Bryant they were unable to tell me why they are calling me. In there very slow response to my email they said they ?would stop calling me? however, they now call even more often. They must have a very bad system combined with "they could care less". To date they have never left a phone message but call three to four times a day and I have not received any snail mail from them. I still do not know why Lane Bryant is calling me. Does Lane Bryant sound like a company that you would like to do business with? You should think it over and remember this message posting. I wonder just how many of their customers have this same problem.

Stop Calling My Phone

I just got a call from this #.  It was World Financial Bank for an overdue credit card payment.

The following occurred on 29 July 2011:  Received incoming call from 305-255-5347 but went to voice mail but caller did not leave a message.  One hour later, I received a call from 913-677-8319.  First, a pre-recorded message came on...white woman with a British accent ordering me to please hold for an important call.  Then an English-speaking white man came on the line and asked to speak with a "Tammy S. Alaliey".  I asked him to spell the person's name.  Then I asked him where he got my telephone number from (I have had my phone number for over 9 years).  He answered, "I can't give you that information."  To which I then asked him why his company "robocalls" telephone numbers looking for particular persons since I have had this phone number for over 9 years and I didn't know who "Tammy S. Alaliey" was and I demanded his company (self-identified by the man as "World Financial Network National Bank") STOP CALLING MY NUMBER !!!  The man replied that he would "take my number out of their system" and claimed the calls would stop.  As for "Tammy S. Alaliey," I hope you get arrested and incarcerated for using other people's telephone  numbers to avoid paying your bills, B***H !!!!!

Received 4 calls on my cell phone today before 11:00 AM.  I answered first call and a person with an Indian accent asked for me.  Pretending to be someone else, I asked who was calling and he refused to identify himself, so I hung up.  Like others on this site, I have both Fashion Bug and Lane Bryant accounts.  Both accounts are current.

I looked up this number by "reverse phone numbers" and it said it belongs to QWEST CORPORATION.  It could be connected to Direct TV. I figured they were trying to get me back.

Even though our account is up to date they still call our house from early morning to late at night. Ever since the World Financial Bank has taken over certian accounts their paper work is back logged and charging late charges that don't really exist

I emailed a complaint to Lane Bryant asking them
to stop calling me and hanging up.  They emailed
back to say the calls were for advertising and they
would stop with-in a week. I own them nothing.
My account is paid in full. They use this phone number
for more that just debt collection. They also use this
phone number to harass good paying customers
as well.

As a follow up. I emailed Lane Bryant. Requesting my phone number be
placed on there do not call list. I had also requested to be sent a copy of
there "do-not-cal- policy". They are required under federal law to comply with
with both of my request. There response was willfully inadequate. They only
stated they would stop calling and ignored my request for there "do not call policy".
They are required under federal law to comply with BOTH of my request. I will
now fill a complaint. Again "I own them nothing" and this is the way they have
treated a good customer.

Definitely part of the Lane Bryant/Fashion Bug entity "World Financial Bank".  The reason they do not leave any messages is they run an automated system to call delinquent accounts.  If you did schedule a payment for any of their credit cards, it may take up to 48 BUSINESS hours (!) to update their systems.  Annoying - yes.  Especially when the system auto dials your cell then your work.

These people called my cell and when I let it go to VM they IMMEDIATELY called my work number!! They did not leave a message either time. If you want me to call you back, leave a freaking message.
