Caller ID was the usual garbage - V...... - about 20 random digits. Since they can't possibly make
any money with that scam, I call them prank callers.
Those type of calls go directly to the black list. No second call from them ever gets through.

Same as most of you above, they knew my name and make of my vehicle, asking to sell an extended warranty. As I politely said no, they hung up before I could complete my sentence - the must be idiots, as simple thank you on their end would have avoided suspicion and I would not have reported them.

I got a call from this number this afternoon at 12:44. The woman on the other end asked to speak with the head of the household and when I asked her who was calling, she said she was calling from the transportation department. When I asked her if she was calling about auto insurance, she hung up on me.

I learned not to press numbers to get removed from their lists. All it does is let them know there is a live person on the other end and they sell the numbers. I've also learned not to answer calls I don't recognize because as soon as we answer, our number is "live" and gets sold. I finally got rid of most of the calls by not answering at all, EVER unless I know who is calling. Legitimate callers will leave a message. The calls have really died down and if I see a call on my call log that I don't recognize, I google it and it's usually here, like this number was. I also turned off ringers and put one or two really low, so they don't disturb me. If I want to take a nap, ringers go off on cell and land line.

Downtown Keenesburg, CO is almost non-existent. Just a few shops there and a greasy restaurant.

Called home phone. Left an empty 1 second message. Likely spam.

I called the number back and got a recording something about an auto repair company. Said to press 2 to be added to the 'do not call list' and then asked me to press 3 to confirm. We'll see if that worked.

Said they were calling about the expired warranty on my car. I asked what company they are with... Answer was "..your... Honda" I said "You work for Honda?" Answer was "I agree it is a busy time of year". I hung up.

I have a Colorado based number but live in Florida. I got a call from these guys. Transfered me to a woman who verified my car, then transfered me to a salesman to tell me all about their coverage. Spouted nonsense about the cost of an average repair. Clearly a scam. He had a reasonable amount of information on me. My address, my car, and a basic knowledge of my current coverage. When I told him I didn't want coverage, his side of the call cut off with a strange sound, but the call continued until I hung up. Seems like they're routing their calls through a Colorado call center so they can't be traced.

Very short but possibly disturbing phone call talking about my vehicle. Hung up mid sentence. Phone traces to an address in downtown Keensberg CO. Maybe got my information from a dealership list?

Just got a call from these guys on my work phone (asking for my spouse) so I know it's either from the Go dealerships or Jeep if it's about vehicles. She hung up on me when I asked who was calling. Very noisy connection, maybe from overseas?

This number is for a "scam" company trying to sell extended auto warranties from a very old list. The car they were calling about I have not owned for more than 5 years. You could hear the "boiler room" conversations in the back ground.
The caller got very rude when I told him I wasn't interested, refused to confirm or give him any information and told him not to call me again. He called me an insulting curse word as I was hanging up the phone.

Asked for me by my first name. Said he was calling about a car we got rid of two years ago. When I said I didn't own the car anymore and to please take me off - she hung up before I could finish the sentence.

Asked for us by name. Said he was calling about a car we got rid of two years ago. When he found out we don't have it anymore he said "ok, thank you," and ended the call politely after that. I did not give him any other info. I can't remember how he identified himself. It sounded like it was from or about the car company. I"m pretty sure it was one of those spammer/scammers trying to sell an extended warranty.
