Caller ID Denver Co this time (have gotten other states and #s with exact same recording - Lower your credit card interest. I pressed 1 to talk to the rep.  The rep said did you press one to lower your cc interest?  I have said I am on the National Do.... and they hung up in mid sentence  Did return call and the number is disconnected.  How can we stop these calls?

My husband got two calls from this no. and on our phone it said "payphone" for the no.   I looked up the area code and it is in Colorado.  Someone asked him for our credit card info and he hung up.  It happened twice.

Same thing here only # on caller ID says 'Pay phone' .

Keeping up with this crap is like playing 'Whack-a-mole'.

I, too, get these calls often and when I talked to a person and told him to remove my name from their calling list, he said, Hey, hey, you didn't say please.    Very annoying to say the least.  Thank goodness for caller ID!

The recording identified it as "Card member services."
As with others, pressing 3 does not stop the calls.  Pressing 1 to talk to a rep also does not stop them.
We are on the "do not call" registry (www.donotcall.gov) so we file a complaint every time we receive one of these calls.

Received the call from 303-458-9130 while we were out...now I know not to answer when the call comes again.  Thanks to this site for explaining this call.

This is the 6th number I have blocked but I am sure they have plenty more. My phone will not call forward without a person answering it to cut it on but try call forward the numbers to the FCC or FBI.

Received a phone call from this number 8:30 at night and asks that my name and phone number be taking off their list and was hung up on before I could finish called this number back and operator said number would not go through as dialed.

They also call from 202-367-9951 and on the caller ID saids voter reach. Triied to be put on the do not call list they just call you be in a few hours.

also go to fcc.gov and file an online complaint there.

Phone rang with this number but we didn't bother to answer. So glad we didn't. What a pain in the...

calls to lower your credit  card interest rate. I have no credit cards . press 1 to talk to someone and you get anything from being hung up on to being told to pay your bills. Actually talked to one person and when I asked her what credit card she was refering to ,she couldnt "find" my records. They also call from 786-358-6893

What authorities do you tell? I don't like being hung up on.

I have hit the 3 on this call to say don't bother me anymore, but that doesn't really work. I hit 1 today to talk to the live person. As soon as they knew I wasn't going to do business, they hung up.  

Is ther a way to report this to the phone company?

Add me to the list of people who've gotten a call from this number. It came when I wasn't home, but the number was recorded on my call-recording machine. Now I'll know not to answer.

Got a call  5 minutes ago.  Said it was credit card company wanting to know if I wanted interest lowered
This is the same call I've been getting nearly daily for a couple of years now.  Just changes numbers.
You can't get them to tell you the name of the credit card company.  It said Denver and had a Colorado area code so I answered since we know people in Colorado.  Wasn't worth the bother.

The calls are part of a scam, and the Do Not Call Registry can't do much about it, especially without a company name to pursue and the number coming back as belonging to a payphone. I have instead sent the numbers to the authorities.

If you have registered your number with the National Do Not Call Registry - FILE A COMPLAINT ON THEIR WEBSITE!  I have done it with several of the calls I've gotten recently.

phone id shows: pay phone.  some woman claiming i can get my credit card interest reduced but never identifies which credit card company she is calling in regards to.  i called the number back and some man answers but doesn't id  which company he is answering the phone for.     i hear what sounds like a room full of telemarketers speaking in the background so i ask  him who the number i am calling belongs to.   there is a short silence and the line goes dead. you know doggon well they weren't calling from a pay phone as the caller id said and since they wouldn't id the company they were representing they have to be SCAMMERS! I looked up the area code online and it shows Colorado.

I keep getting this phone call as well... multiple times each week, and sometimes twice a day. I pressed 1 to speak to someone so I could get past the machine and to a live person. I had intended to tell the person to place me on their Do Not Call list and that, by law, they would not be able to call me again for 5 years. She kept interrupting me and then hung up when I told her to stop interrupting.
