Received call from "Jim Martellaro (303) 477-2665".  No one answers, just silence for a few seconds and than hangs up.

I work nights and i am tired of getting woke up, they finally answered me today looking for a business owner. im so tired of these calls half the time they dont talk and that makes it madder than anything

Get them on the phone and make them tell you the name of the business they are working for. Then report them to the FCC and the Better Business Bureau.

I called back the "Jim Martellaro" number, and of course, it was disconnected. They called back and I just said "hello" (instead of the name of the business -- whenever I answer with the business name they hang up -- if you just say hello they will talk to you and you can ask them the name of the business, which is essential when making your report).

It's ANOTHER credit card processing company. Do yourself a favor and if they do get through to you without hanging up, not do business with them. Anyone who uses shady marketing techniques like this probably also does business in a shady way. Don't trust 'em.

Same thing now happens once a week.

number calls on a daily basis at work i pick up they hang up, very frustrating and irritating. grrrr! calling fcc.

Same caller id - Jim Martellaro.  I picked up and it was a Phillipino call center.  Gal said they were with National Insurance Assistance.  I just reported them to FCC.

Got the same name on my caller ID, but I did pick up, because i'm familiar with the area code, the girl asked for a Mr. Jack, then hung up.

Didn't answer (I never answer if I don't recognize the name or number).  Didn't leave a message.

"Jim Martellaro" is the name that comes up on Caller ID.  I routinely wait for unknown or suspitious looking phone #'s (such as No Data, Toll Free Svcc, etc) to either hang up or leave a message and then I look the number up here before I decide if I want to call back.  Whenever I find complaints on file I just add their phone number to my "Selective Call Reject" list (similar to "Spam List") and that is the last time they'll get through the filter.  It's a free service.  Look into it with your phone company.  I don't need the hassle of having to even speak to these annoying callers or give them the opportunity to get to me.  Saves a lot of aggrevation.
