A man called with poor English asking if I was the homeowner.  I asked what he wanted, and he kept repeating the question and I kept asking what he wanted.  He hung up.

I just got a call on my FAX line from those idiots ...

This number came up as STARR, T on my caller ID, also.  I let my answering machine pick up.  Message left sounded like, "oH, oh, oh" with what sound like Chinese being spoken in the background.  I am tempted to call back and leave them a stupid message, but do not want to encourage such juvenile behavior.

This number came up as STARR, T on my caller ID. The caller spoke rather broken English, which was made less intelligible by the very very bad phone connection. I think he said he was part of a survey company in Colorado, and asked something about whether or not I have asthma or allergies. He also wanted to know if I am the homeowner and if I am married. I answered these questions and I think he said thank you and that was it, but it was hard to understand, so I hung up.
