This spam-number seems pretty smart. This number sent me an automated-looking text; my first name was included?creepy.

They just called at my grahms house today asked for both times. The first time they said they where financial masters inc. and they needed to speak to her I said she was unavailable and they proceeded to give a message and a different number for he'd to call and I told them to take her the number off the call list and not to call back and that she would not be getting the message. Ten mins later they called back and claimed to be the FBI. Hahaha. What a jk. Freaking t**** heads.

How can we blok them?? any ideas??

Contact the FCC to report obnoxious callers.

IT IS AGAINST FEDERAL LAW for them to contact you at your place of employment.

Read the FDCPA - What they are doing is violation of this Federal law.

Sue them,  Collect $1000 for each offense and violation.

This is a debt collector, but a very bad one, who practices illegal tactics.
Don't give them any information, or bank numbers.
They will not take you off there call list even if you do get the chance to talk to them.
They use multiple numbers to call you, and they are attempting to collect old debts, ones that are over 7 years old, and at the 7 year mark, the debt becomes a loss for whoever is the owner of the debt, and at this point there is no legal way for them to collect. Basically after 7 years, your debt is void.
It's also illegal for them to call anyone but the debtor. If they call your neighbors, then contact the federal trade commission, and report them.
If you do get a chance to talk to them you can request that they only contact you by way of U.S. mail, and that (legally) should stop the calls.
Or if you know who it is and can get there address you can send them a cease and desist letter.

The easiest way to handle them is to buy a call blocker.
Yes, it will cost you between 80 to 120 bucks, but the peace you will get is worth the cost.

I had two conversations with these guys and the first thing they ask for is personal information to verify an uncollected account debt.  When I ask for the company's info they just continue  to ask for my i formation; when I refuse they simply hangup on me.

Repeated computerized  calls for  person who does not live at this address.  Option 3 (click if you are not the person) was chosen in hope of speacking with someone to request cease and desist. The result: Continuous (3-5 minute) music interjected with requests to continue holding on eventually, ending in disconnection of the call.

I just got a call from this number and it show belonging to a Kirking Tate.

This number keeps calling my work phone/business. I keep holding for a representitave and explainning we do not know the person they are looking for and ask to be removed.

What can we do to make this stop?

It is also against the law for such CA (Collection Agencies) to put ANYTHING on your credit at any time what-so-ever.

Only the original creditor can put anything on your credit.   If any CA puts a debt on your credit you can sue them for violating FDCPA regulations and get $1000 per instance of it.

It's a violation of FDCPA regulation for them to call your place of employment.  You can sue them and get $1000 in court.

Got a call this morning from a man identifying himself as a representative for GE. He said that GE made my home alarm system and that he could offer me a discount on my monitoring maintenance charges. He mentioned the name of the current company I use and that he could offer me the service for less. After a couple minutes of my asking how he got my number and that my alarm company has NEVER called me in 18 years, I suspected a scammer at work. I asked him politely to put this number on the "DO NOT CALL" list. I called my alarm monitoring company to tell them of the call and they say they don't sell my information and that they would trace the call. I asked them to let me know what they find. During that call the account rep said she'd like to offer me a discount on their service since we've been "long time customers". I said SURE! So there's a silver lining to this cloud!

This is a phony and illegal debt collector.  Do not send them anything or reply with any info !

They called and said "this message is for Ken Porter, if you are Ken Porter press #1 otherwise press#3".  I pressed #3 and the music from 'Ferlise' was playing and then it hung up. Ken Porter was our neighbor over 15 years ago and moved away at that time....this is so stinking wierd!!

Zombie Debt collectors. Tate & Kirlin (A**-Ociates) Looking for a man who had my phone number over 4 years ago. Called on Sunday morning. Hung up after I clicked 1 to talk to them.

All calls from this number are ignored.

Caller hung up as soon as called was answered.

Just got this new phone number, got a call this afternoon.  Called them back, gave them the number and explained this was a number new to me.  Jerk hung up without apologizing or anything.

Thanks for posting those numbers so I can block them all rather than just the one!

i know i don't owe any debts (we dont even use credit cards, and the ones we have are paid in full every month!) so not sure what their deal is.
