Been receiving calls from a Robert someone, thick Indian accent says he's an officer and some cash loans is suing me. He had all kinds of information about me. Threatening me about this serious matter.

Tell your employer you are a target of this scammer and it's not your fault. Bring their attention to this 800notes page. Scammers use bought/hacked/phished loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

Someone has been calling my work number for about a year for an employee that has not worked here for a long time.  Each time I explain the person they are trying to reach no longer works here, has not worked for quite a long time, and I request that they remove my office number from their data base.  They continue to call regardless.  It disturbs my work and is completely inappropriate.

Agreed!!!  They call me looking for my friend.  They claim that I am listed as a reference...that I'm responsible for her paying them....that I will suffer legal "jail time" if I don't cooperate.  They want names, numbers and other nonsense.  The number used to show up as 0000.  Today it came up as 303.500.0417.  He claimed this time that I'm listed as her mother.  He says his name is Officer Mike.  I call the number back and he just says hello.  This is a total scam!!!  I'm just at a loss as to how to get them caught and/or getting them to leave me alone!!

I am gettting calls from this idiot stating he is a officer and all this and that.. these calls are ridiculious and annoying... I have repeadily ask this moron for a fax # or a company name and nothing... they have no idea what they are doing.. I am very familiar with the FDCPA and FTC and the state statues as I do litigation for a living... so these sob's with all their non sense really need to stop.. I will file suit on them so fast howeva they neva give the proper info.. I am filing again with the AG's office and now I am going to contact the local police dept... Received a voice mail yesterday afternoon and then again this morning from Officer Montoya, from the fraud department.  I have received so many of these types of calls over the last couple of years that I never answer the phone if I do not recognize the number.  They have changed the script slightly, he did not ask for my retained attorney of record.  But he did say that if I did not call him back, that they would come to my work and my home and I would be "behind the bar".

This man with an indian accent has been calling me for over a year and a half now telling me that if I did not call him back that I could be in serious trouble and that I would be taken to court.  He would say that it is very important that I call him back the minute I received the call.  I have received in one day 13 calls back to back from this man.  He has changed his name so many times.  I told him that the person he was looking for was not at that number and to stop calling it.  He stopped for about a week and the calls started again.  He got really smart with me.  He has called me from at least 12 different phone numbers and like I said he calls and when he leaves a message it's a different name but the voice is still the same.  I told him if he keeps it up I am going to report him.  How can someone like that keep calling if you tell them to stop calling the number.  I am sick and tired of this mess.  There has to be a way to stop this man from calling.

This number has called me numerous times amd threatened me with prison time and all sorts of other things.  I have contacted the local authorties and all they can say is that the calls are coming from the Middle East and there is nothing they can do about it.  I have now since has my number changed but for wouldnt you know they retrived my contacts in my phone and now are calling them!  This is ridiculous!!!!  Some organization, like the FBI, needs to handle this because this is getting way out of control!!!  I am sick and tired of being sick and tired about this.  I don't know who these t**** heads are and trust me if I did they would definitely pay...am I'm not threating anything..I am promising!!!!!!!!

I have received calls on my voice mail from the same person, but he changes his name and company every time. It is a scam.
The caller leaves a voice message every time by yelling into the phone. The caller ID keeps changing. These are the numbers so far: 419-000-1011, 513-393-1000, 303-500-0417, and 703-544-0624. That should tell you that it is a scam there. Also, he has aliases: Roderick Daniels and Ricky Wilson. His accent is from India in my opinion and middle eastern in my manager's opinion.
The facts are these: if it is a debt collector then you can call them back, you won't here a threat of arrest, and you would here the same name with the same voice. The FTC is the place to file complaints with false threats of arrest. Also, unfortunately the police say that people can misrepresent themselves on the phone. It is not something for the police until money is taken. But, spam controls should work unless this man has an unlimited amount of numbers.

They called me telling they were from a fraud company and were police officers,but they knew my name,social and work and etc....they told me I was going to be sent to court for fraud and they were going to fire me from my work for fraud!!! The weird thing is I told them a bad word and they said u are insulting a police officer and that was another charge against me! They were calling me from Denver  Colorado from cash net.......please people they are scammers hope they burn in hell.......

I also received a phone call from a man with a deep indian or middle eastern accent stating I must pay a certian amount of money $600.00 or they were going to send my case to the courts for fraud. He said there are serious allegations of fraud. He knew all my information too. I asked him name of company he replied, "I do not know". The only way he knew my information is when I apllied for cash advance loans. My friend called back and asked him the name of the manager he replied Michael beck. Then my friend asked may I please have his contact number. The man replied, "303 go find yourself. I believe this to be a fraud. These men are trying to instill fear in people so they will fork over the money. The man even threatened me to say that, "my friend you do not want to let this hurt your credit. If go to the courts for fraud you could face prison and a $3000.00 fine. Bogus.
