Tried in vain to email and call "Vic". There is no one by that name at the company. I did speak to an individual named Adriana. When I informed her we did not need Larson Financial's services, she said she had to speak to an owner of my company in order to stop calling. I said I was authorized by my boss, the CEO, to say we do not need their services. She said she would never stop calling until she spoke to one of the owners. I said that would never happen and that if she kept calling I would report her company to the BBB. She said, "Go ahead". Wow.

This is Larson Financial, Inc., Westminster, CO.  I went to the trouble to research all of these types of companies.  Names, addresses, google research, BBB research, and in some cases supreme court research.  Thousands of people hire these companies every month.  I tried to be as impartial as I could, ?just the facts.?  Some of them have multiple locations, and some of them have multiple names in the same location.  14 Linked reviews for all the companies are at the bottom of the article.

If you want to read the article, google ?Why does larson financial westminster call about taxes (303) 554-0778? and scroll through the results until you see:  irsbacktaxhelp.wordpress.com and click, might be on the second page of results.  It will help spread the word.

This person named Chris called today to inform me I owed over $50,000.00 in back taxes to the IRS. He was here to "help" me.  I hung up on him and he called right back.

I think the IRS would have contacted me first, don't you?

This guy has called me repeatedly and claims to be from some tax collection service.  I told him that if he was then his caller id info would be IRS not anonymous.  He calls every sixty seconds sometimes.  Just disconnect the phone for about five minutes and give him the hint to f.o.  He also calls in from 303-499-9570.

Lying to my daughter to get my work phone number? That is no way to get business! "I have the number, but misplaced it" is what they said. And, the calls have been coming up on the caller ID with the name of Matt something or other. What kind of business is this???

I am a current client of Larson Financial...I was referred to them by a fellow business owner that was another satisfied client of Larson Financial.  I was directed to this site by a Larson Financial competitor who called me today trying to get me to switch from Larson to them (imagine that...he knew about this thread). First of all let me start by saying that the people at Larson have been nothing but courteous, friendly and respectful to me. If you find yourself (as MANY of us business owners have over the past 18 months) in need of a tax resolution service, I would HIGHLY recommend Larson Financial.  They have NEVER promised me a "pennies on the dollar" resolution or that the tax debt would be "wiped clean".  They have been honest and forthright, informing me of several different outcomes that I could expect. And before you hire ANYONE, check with the Better Business Bureau...NOT the internet, before making your decision.  As for the posts regarding the sales calls...I can not honestly comment on that because I contacted them.  However, their "sales department" did call me after I was already a client and gave me their "sales pitch" and I merely told them that I was already a client and that was the end of that.  But I get sales calls from our current telephone service provider wanting me to switch to them...this is merely a clerical error in their system.  Is it annoying? YES. Does it need to be addressed? YES. Is it cause for slanderous (and I would imagine...inflated) posts on this thread? NO. Somehow I would tend to believe that this thread was started by a competing tax resolution service.  If you check out the BBB you will see that Larson Financial has had 1 complaint in the past 36 months...1.  Wouldn't you think that if all the claimed incidents that have been posted here actually happened that they would have ALOT more BBB complaints?  They also have an A rating with the BBB (on a scale of A+ - F).  Check it out for yourself.  Don't go by heresay.

This is so funny Larson is a total rip off and they will do anything to get your money that is no joke! When I started there I was trained to lie by Jack Larson, Jen Martin and the rest of those jokers!! All they want is money they could care less if your taxes get taken care of!! They do hire felons! They do not have background checks and the owners and supervisors do drugs with the employees WOW this is sure not a company that I would give any info too!! They even lied for me and saaid I was only working part time so I could continue to receive government benefits! Thank goodness for me but watch out they will get you in the long run.

There is a reason that VIC left the company and it was for nothing but the good he was one of the only good men in there and now they have nothing.

I hope you do not give them your money!!

Please contact the BBB if they have ripped you off, also post your story on Ripoffreport.com if they are true stories. They are there to rip you off, deal with the IRS yourself! This company hires felons and no need for a background check here! They also lie to the Adams County Social Services for a couple workers stating that they are hourly only, although the 10% commission is there!

Thanks Vic for hiring me!

Got some calls from these guys, called back and they couldn't find my record (maybe because I don't have a tax problem!). Asked them not to call anymore and they replied that just because it was a 303 number didn't make it them. (I am not capable of looking at 10 whole numbers?)

Vic while you are defending this companie's pristine record here is a few more sites you may want to check out....

http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/3035540778

with a few more complaints.

a google search also turned up a help wanted ad,
with this line

"If you have additional questions, please feel free to e-mail Ron Larson at rlarson@larson-financial.com. No phone calls please."

I guess Ron Larson doesn't like a million annoying phone calls either.

Dear "unhappy",
I assume you are also "ttm" since both entries are made on the same day, and neither entry has anything to do with an 800 number.  It's January 12th at 3pm, I just went and checked our BBB report, and as usual, an A- rating with zero complaints.  We do have a perfect record, but we've served over 3000 clients since we've opened our doors.  I don't know what constitutes "barely" in your world, but we're proud of what we've done, and 3000 seems like a lot to me.  As usual, please contact the only person who identifies himself on this website, Vic Valenzuela, 888.589.0955 x303.  I'd say "horrible and unprofessional" is making anonymous, unsupported attacks on a website.

Dear "TTM"
Boo!  Once again, a completely anonymous post with no actual information insinuating that there's something wrong.  I'm the only person, other than our client, "ATG" who actually identifies themselves.  If you have any questions about us, please call me(Vic Valenzuela) at 888.589.0955, or email me at vvalenzuela@larson-financial.com.  We are very serious about helping people with tax issues.  I also observe that there's no discussion of any kind of contact or phone call, so I assume it's a less than ethical competitor with too much free time.
Happy new year!

ATG,
I have a couple of questions if you have time and see this......
1. Have they managed to handle all communication with the taxing agency, thereby keeping them out of your hair?
2. Have they successfully packaged it into payments?

I am considering using them. I don't want a magic bullet, just someone to take the stress away and allow a means to pay the debt. Have they done at least that for you?

Hey "M".......You are the A**hole.
I have received calls from them, and dealt with them. Quit being such a little baby and gather some control over your own life. It is not hard to do with a little less blaming and a dose of cajones. If you had a clue about business, you would know that telemarketing is one of the many avenues important to business development. It is a pain in the butt, but it works. If you spent any time developing a business rather than sitting around posting and whining, you'd probably learn some of this. This is not someone else's problem......

A telemarketer is calling at least every two days to reach
the head of the company, since November 6th and I think a few
days earlier. At first the telemarketer told me he had spoken to
the head of the company and was "returning his call", then later
he asked me what was our company and just what did we do?
So obviously he never spoke to him. Constant calls. So this company's claim that nothing has happened since early October (see message below)
is false.

Thanks, Vic

While may case is still ongoing, and not yet resolved, I can say that there has been no shortage of commiserations or compassion on the part of their staff.

IF they are able to secure the deal they are trying to make with the IRS they will be heroes. And if not...that partly falls on the IRS. The owner of Larson called me today, apparently he is actively following this website and the comments.

My annoyence is as much dismay and disbelief at the overall state of affairs in our country, as it is some specific shortcomings of Larson Financial.

I should not be in this hellish place. I believe the American people are being suckered and that this is the age of mass-manipulation. The banks are using the bailout money ( which is nothing more than borrowed tax money on revenues they may or may not be able to collect as the economy continues to head into choas )to buy smaller banks and draft bonuses for the executives, not help people who have been suckered by the con of
A) Median home prices being completely out of whack with median incomes
B) Record profits by oil companies as gas prices stuck a sword into the rib cage of our economy, during a time of war
C) Out-sourcing of jobs by economic cartels that then created massive bubbles in the commodities that consumed whatever disposable income small businesses in the United States and the families they employe had. Then these ' multi-national ' corporations such as GM and Chrysler show profits in their overseas factors while lining up for bailout money.

We all nod and say all politicians are liars and crooks. But when they are too big of liars and crooks, things break down.

The last eight years as been a wealth killing machine for the middle class. Private armies now are deployed in combat zones, and the soldiers of fortune of Blackwater, Haliburton and their ilk are making five times what U.S. Marines make. Oil companies are cleaning up. Machine shops preparring military aircraft parts are booming AND EVERYBODY ELSE IS SCREWED.

When a country is led by men who are corrupt, and on the take in a myriad of petty and evil ways, that is what trickles down. Trickle down economics failed to account for individual greed. I voted for George Bush twice. The " fiscal conservative ".

And meanwhile there are millions of illegal aliens everywhere. They are a massive drain on our social services. They have devalued ALL of the construction trades. Not a word in the debates.

During the rise in gas prices, not a word from George Bush. All he had to do was get out there and push for drilling, and such talk would have stopped the bubble.

Maybe now that these futures traders and banking institutions have been revealed to be a bunch of thieving b*****ds, there will be such lack of demand for their services and regulations on their schemes that they will be forced to compete with the Mexicans and paint a house.

Somehow I doubt it. But THAT would be change I could believe in.

Sorry for the rant. Those that are not in financial trouble now, hang on to your a***s, because it's coming.

Same as all above.  I've gotten I think I got about 3 calls originally, they don't bother to give a name of who they're looking for, they just rather generically state they're calling about "the state tax issue".  Well, since I don't have a tax issue, I assumed wrong number.  And no, I hadn't gotten the interest to tell them they had a wrong number.  Then just today I get another phone call, the name given sounded like Cruz Quintana, who made it sound as if "my" file had been passed off to him, and he was calling about the 'issue'.  Now that I googled the # on my caller ID I find this thread.  So, update your records or something and stop calling people on the DNC list!

I found this website doing some research about Larson Financial after they had cold called me.

See, when the IRS is got a levy on you it is public record. Larson Financial is able to see who is going to get these levies and then calls them.

I have been in business for 11 years and never received a call from any company regarding tax issues until I had some.

So, I've signed up with them, and be assured that if they do not deliver as promised I will post it here as some of the rants on these pages almost turned me away.
I almost signed with http://www.taxresolution.com/ but after doing some research I did find complaints about them and none about Larson.

The other guys list pennies on the dollar settlements but so far the Larson guys have only told me that I am entitled to a payment plan with the IRS, not any balance or penalties abatement. But they are working on a legal method to eliminate 25k of 30k in tax debt because the CEO died during the period we were racking up debt.

So, they have promised no magic bullet.

I will update this site with my dealings with Larson Financial. Two thousand dollars is a lot of money for me. If I haven't gotten a fair value you will hear about it.

"M",
A few things to help people out.  First, your giving people the wrong information.   It's Larson Financial, with an "o" as I included in the email you quoted.  Not "Larsen Financial" with and "e".  I noticed you never called me to put a stop to any phone calls.

In your post you said "Your firm called me three times in rapid succession with a repeat rate of sixty seconds each time.  You pretended to be someone you're not."  I noticed you never tried to call me to correct the problem even though I clearly tell you how to take care of it.  Again, call me at the numbers listed below, email me, whatever your desired way you want to correct this.

I'm a little offended that you refer to me as a "jack***" when you've never tried to contact me.  This is a business with an excellent reputation as I'm sure you found out when you contacted the bbb.

I can't say it more simply, I don't want my employees calling people who don't want to hire us, it's a waste of time and resources.  Tell me what number is being dialed so I can track down who has the information on my end.  I'm hoping to apply some common sense to this discussion.

I've been very straightforward and direct about this, and I've identified myself, my company and provided all my contact information and the information you've provided are wild claims and the pseudonym "m".  You sure have a lot of free time.
Regards,
Vic
