A girl named Jessica called twice and said that we owed her $1,000. She would not talk to my wife, and just told her it was personal business with me. I have no idea who she is and what she is wanting the $1000 for. She won't stop calling.

They called several times, usually around meal time.  No person with the name they ask for lives here!!

This is a collection company: ProRec. We are getting screwed by them because of an ADT/Pinnacle security system we had years ago that we no longer have an account with. We are trying to get the problem solved but the never answer their phone, it says all circuits are busy. It is messing with our credit score bad. I hope this post helps.

I had got a miss call from this no. yesterday at night, Thought someone was disturbing me. Later in this page I have come to know more about this no from this page http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/professional-recovery-system.html and found some people having positive talk about the company. Now I am thinking they must had some error thats why they call me up.

Worst mistake is picking up the phone in the first place, your caller I.D. gives them information to check back for your address using a phone number reverse search

What they seem to be doing is using a reverse phone search engine
looking for names that have the same initials for the first names
and the same last names, hoping they'll strike gold

These people buy old written off accounts for a few pennies on the dollar
Oddly enough, some people get suckered in to paying off these lice even though they don't owe them a dime

I receive a call from this # everyday around the same time.   they never say anything when i answer.

Rec'd a message from 303-575-6900, for someone I don't know. They said they are doing a reference check for this person & to call him back @ the above number w/ his Ext. What are they calling for ?

I never got a call but it took me forever to find their phone number. They also list an address of 600 17th st. suite 2600s denver CO 80202. I happened to find them on my credit report AFTER I sent a DV letter and never got a response from them.

I believe this to be some sort of scam.  I too received a call from this number, and they would not return my call or talk to me when I inquired about the nature or business of their call.

The number belongs to "Professional Recovery Systems". They do collections.
