My phone number is registered in the national do no call list and it seems that this list is not working. The caller id shows everest institute. Can the state gov do something about it?, please let me know

yeah its from everest... i called them ( 1-866-226-4051) n said that i want them to stop calling.... and they stopped ...

my recommendation to get rid of them:  answer, tell them they have the wrong number, ask to have your number removed, and KEEP TALKING -- talk to them as long as you can -- talk about anything except what they are trying to sell you -- they will get tired and hang up on you, and I think they will remove your number from their call lists (because you are wasting their time)!  I got a call from this number -- caller claims that 'Claudine' gave them this number -- maybe so -- smart of Claudine to give out a number that isn't hers, she isn't getting hassled -- maybe Claudine is a bogus name too -- I told the caller that there is no one by that name here, and that this is a business phone (both are true statements) -- she said she would remove my phone from her list -- then, 5 minutes later, I got a call from 224-653-7100, asking for Claudine -- caller says that she is with American Intercontinental University, and that my number was likely given / sold to other online schools -- so now I can look forward to more calls

yes, it's everest institute... all i did was request some info be MAILED to me and they also have called me about 20 or more times a day..... it's in denver, colorado. i called them and told them to REMOVE my name and # from their list and that i would never do business with their school now because of this. she said they would remove me. we'll see.

CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY EVEN ON SUNDAY

This number LITERALLY calls me about 10-15 times a day. I mean every few minutes. They even switched it up and called from another number. (908)222-9300 so be careful guys! I know it's everest I told them i wasn't interested abut they keep calling !

I keep receiving calls from this number eight to ten times a day...........early in the morning til late at night.  If I pick up there's no one there, when I called back they answered Everest which I believe is a school.  I told them to stop calling and remove my number from their list.  It did no good, they are still calling.  What can I do?/

This number is calling me 20 times a day and I want it to stop now.  I do not want to talk to them at all and I do not know how they got my phone number. It is constant harassment! They are crazy!

This number apparently calls my phone an average of ten times/day (about once every hour and a half).  I use a call block app on my phone so I don't actually get the call but it keeps the data of the blacklisted number.

303-996-5473 has called me 8 times already today and answered once and there was no answer.

Any clue how to stop this madness? This is my work cell # And the boss checks our records.....

I am not national DO NOT CALL for my cell and this number has called me twice within two hours today. I am reporting them for violation to the FCC.

wth i signed up to have information sent to me and immediately started getting calls from this number. if everest is supposed to be a legit school their practices are NOT. they've called repeatedly while i'm at work sheesh and i have class later now i have to shut my phone off it borders on harrassment, it's crazy. if someone doesn't answer call tomorrow or use my email that's why i hate ppl asking for my phone everyone has email they need to learn how to use it.
