I go the same call the other day. And i can only think of one company that they are getting your/our number from:"VERIZON".
you see i have no bank account of any kind,nor do i any bills in my name, I'm living in someones home that I am not even related to. I do not even have a job, nor have had one for all most 4yrs.

so for me it has to be VERIZON they are getting there numbers from.

They're selling cheap security systems. They are the same you can get at, say, Radioshack. It's a "dumping" company that buys cheap foreign made security systems and make a profit by over pricing their items and getting you on the hook for more junk offers to come. So, your best bet? Don't answer the phone or engage these people. Complete scum of the earth types.

Just called my cell, and as with all unknown numbers I let it go to voicemail.  The message was from a robodialer, something about putting a sign in my yard.  I deleted the voicemail and added the number to my blacklist.

I don't know this number and I have no business with them., I didn't answer and no message left

Stated they were with FBI. Informed me of several break ins in this area. States they wanted to place a secure detector in my home. I hung up on her.

It called my cell phone twice, I did not answer it either time, it left no message.

Left me a voicemail. The only part of their message I heard was to hit any number on the keypad to be removed their contact list. Maybe that was the entire message?

Called both me and my husband's cell phones back to back. Didn't answer and left no messages.

They just called. Number came up Hinton, WV. I didn't answer since I don't know anyone there.

They just called me...i ignored the call and they left no message.  I then searched the internet for this phone number.  

i got a call from them and ignored them i tried calling them back but just a strobed tone

It is an alarm company that will continue to call even if you ask to be removed from the list. I entertained the person for a few minutes and told them I still was not interested. They transferred me to another person who asked the same questions as the first and continued to try and push their service on me. Never did get a name of a company or how they obtained my Cell phone number.

Called my work Blackberry that I NEVER use as a phone -- no message.

Just got called by this number, but didn't answer.  No message left.  When I called back an automated message asked if I wanted to be taken off their list, but no company was specified.  Clearly a marketing number.
