GOT A CALL TODAY 08/12/10 AND NO MESSAGE

Got this call an hour after booking a hotel in miami beach. No message. 305 is a miam area code. Coincidence?

i received 2 calls from this number too. must not be too important if they don't have the guts to leave a message.

just received a call from this number.. I have my cell register with do not call registry.. what can i do.?

I got a call from this number too and they also didn't leave a message. Looking over everyone's comments I'm glad I didn't answer the phone.

Me too. it said it was no longer in service or disconnected. HOw is that possible when they obviously can call out from it?? Sounds like a scumbag.

Tried to reverse search it on Metro and message came back that I needed to check the number and try again. Again, scumbags

Also got a call from this number.. .no message and when called, it's a disconnected number. Yes.. scumbags.  I am on Do Not Call registry with my cell phone....  hmmmm

Received a call from this no. but was on the phone.  They did not leave message.  When I called back I got a message saying the number is not in service.  Very strange.

the company is using caller ID spoofing, to block their real number, which is illegal in itself.  TO the people who received messages, whatever info they provide in the messages, post it here, so we can figure out who they are and how to stop them

It is an automated recording selling a service.

If you care called, start off the conversation like this: (after the recording and if you can get a hold of a live person).
"Yes, I have someone who is interested in health insurance"
Collect as much information as possible, including name, callback number (real), mailing & physical addresses, supervisors, name of sales rep., etc.

Then (if you feel like it), inform them that YOU personally do not want insurance and that your number is on the do not call list and that you will be taking legal action.

To make it even better (if someone is willing to take a hit for the team), purchase a small prepaid credit/gift card and have them make a small charge on it.  That will have to show up someone.  Make certain that you know how to access the charges on the card first.


I only recommend a prepaid card in the event they try to continue to charge your card.  They will not be able to take beyond the limit.  Spend the rest after the phone call, as you probably won't need it anyway.

I rec'd a call from this number on 8/11/10 twice during the day. Once at 2:56pm and the second at 4:33 the same day! They don't leave a message annoying !

I just got the call now, no message left on voice mail.  The number is from the area of Coral Gables area.  But for all we know it could be a skype account and thats how they are getting away with calling cell phones.  You call back and you can't get through, get an error or no one picks up.  Skype is a hackers paradise, there are so many problems with them and people using their system to make crank calls to 911, to pizza delivery locations, and other services and cell phones.  Use caution if you do get someone on the line, never give your real name or information.  If I don't know the number I simply do not pick up, if its someone who really wants to talk to me they can leave a message other then that I don't bother.

I have tried contacting the phone company, attorney general etc. and all I get is excuses not reason.  I lessen to reason not EXCUSSES.  It is high time this practice is stopped.

I have tried contacting the phone company, attorney general etc. and all I get is excuses not reason.  I lessen to reason not EXCUSSES.  It is high time this practice is stopped.

8/15/10 @1:30 PMI received a call from this number on my cell line,,, no message left and when you call back the line is disconnected.

I got a call at 9:45am EST. Telemarketer recording selling health insurance

SAME JUST RECEIVED A CALL AND WHEN I CALLED BACK IT WAS DISCONNECTED.

I called after they called and it was a disconected number, they left no message. These jerks woke me up! I was worked til 5am and I have trouble sleeping. They should be punished with phone rings 24/7 with headphones for 3 straight days and lets see if they ever feel like calling again. Or how about finding out where they live and ring their door bell and take off. Any 100 kids up for it that you know of? The kids would have a blast... Did I mention that it should be done from 2am to 5am? Then finally we would be available to live in peace, or at least eat, sleep and watch tv in peace.
I saved the number under anoying telemarketing caller do not answer, just in case they call again.
