These calls come in daily and then many days, several times a day. I have pleaded with Cox for 14 months to help me, I have contacted the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia, the FCC, the Federal Trade Commission and I get the same thing every time...change your number. They are doing nothing illegal. I'll bet someone's sweet behind that if I DID what they are doing to us...I would be playing Sweet Chariots on the bars of my cell!!!

Got a call from 305-595-9680 @ 7pm CST tonight. We didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. We always screen calls so there's minimal risk of answering an unfamiliar number. A Google search led me here. Am grateful that others have shared their info about these scammers.

Received a call from this number about 3 minutes ago, April 18, 07:54 PM. Did not recognize it, so I let it go to voice mail. NO MESSAGE. Went to google and found this site...
These people need to be STOPPED!!!!

I got the same bogus recording on my home answering machine (I refuse to answer the phone for a call from a number I don't recognize and have it take time away from me that I could be spending with my kids after a long day!). Some crap about offering me a reduced rate on my CC and I had to act quickly because this offer won't last. Press '1' to be connected to a live rep to take advantage of the offer or press '2' to be removed from getting further calls. I did neither (pressing 2 would only confirm a 'live' number to keep harrassing!). I have reported them to the FCC and the Complaint section on the DoNotCall.gov website. Scumbags!

I began receiving calls from this number after my husband and I completed a few entries to win a new car (the kind of sweepstakes that you find in shopping malls and carnivals). I was never troubled by these kinds of calls until I shared my phone number on those entry forms. Maybe there is a connection between the two?

Called today 4-19, left no message

Just got a call from them a few minutes ago. I do not own a car, so I wanted to listen to this scam. Pressed 1 to be connected to a "live" representative. After 1 minute no one picked up, and I was afraid of being charged, as I do not pay for my own cell phone bill. Googled the number, and found this site.

Received a call from this number stating that my warranty on my car has expired. When I tried to call back the number the recording stated that the number has been disconnected.

The following levels the playing field a bit:
The company behind these calls is IXE Accelerated Financial Services, and they have been calling from various numbers over the last few months. Google, for example, '516-482-7092' or '305-672-6663' and you will recognize the complaints.
The great news is: IXE Accelerated Financial Serivices has a toll-free number: 1-888-226-5185.
Call this number from a public (i.e., PAY) phone booth to voice your concerns multiple times. They have to pay significantly (over $0.50 per call) each time they pick up because they have to reimburse the pay phone company on top of their regular phone bills!
This gets their attention. Ask them to remove your number. It's gratifying to know that they have to pay more than $0.50 to hear your concerns, and that you can make them pay more if they continue to harass you.

I received a call from this number about half an hour ago but opted not to answer. No message left. Searched number just to find out if anyone else is getting calls. Glad I didn't answer after reading your experiences. Hope they don't continue to call us as they have all of you. That Do Not Call list is no good if guys like this can slip through the cracks!

Getting constant daily calls from this telemarketer, even though I'm on the "DO NOT CALL" list. If you push "1" and tell them you are on the list and not to call back, they just hang up and call back a few days later. These morons need to be stopped. Where are the Federal regulators?
Lspring 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
Got a call on my cell phone from this #. No voice mail. Caled number back and says it's disconnected.
Erin 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
They came up with a new one. Now they can also connect you with a real estate agent who can help you stop foreclosure on your home.

Called and didnt leave message. Says on number search it is Florida Land line but no name associated. Maybe if the government fined these people more than taxing us, they could rack up the dough or send them to ABU GRAU
TM 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
These criminal telemarketers illegally leave fake information on your Caller ID. The only way to stop them from calling you again and again (using different spoofed Caller ID info each time) is to report them using their real identities. Information on how to do this can be found at the only web site whose focus is to do just that: www.heatherwithaccountservices.com.

These people are crooks -- they're trying to get your bank account information so they can empty it, or get your credit card number so they can use it. So why would they care about a Do Not Call List? Why would they care whether you get mad or not? Eventually they get account numbers from a FEW suckers, or they wouldn't keep at it. So I try to talk to the live PERSON. I say something like: "My old friend, a taxi driver in New York, thinks that if you cut someone off in traffic, the next light you come to will be red. He calls it 'Instant Karma'. Whenever you put some BAD into the world, sooner or later you get the same amount of BAD back. You could get a better job than scamming poor, not-very-bright people out of their hard-earned money, couldn't you? Otherwise, your life will get worse, one way or another..." Stuff like that.

We get one or two calls from these creeps DAILY, I'm on the do not call list, have filed complaints and nothing helps. ever. They hang up when we ask questions so we bought a whistle and now we tell them to hang on while we get our "paperwork" then we blow the whistle as loud as we can. It makes us feel slightly better since there's obviously nothing else we can do.
rock 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
They called again today and this time the caller ID said Kansas City MO and they wanted to extend my car warantee. Two days ago, same number but ID said Miami FL. and they were going to lower my credit card interest rates. Idiots.

Recorded message from "Heather at account services". New number, same story. Kept them on the line long enough to get their tail wagging, then told them they were being recorded and reported for fraud. Called the number back and it is disconnected. I am sure they'll call back later threatening me with legal action. They always do! LOL

My wife received a cll today 16 Apr 08 from the above number. The pitch was a recoding about winning a trip. he hung up and called back number was disconnected.

Saw this number on my caller ID on 16 Apr 08. Called it back and got a scratchy imitation of Phone Company's "This number is no longer in service." Must be a SCAM.
Donna 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
I've been hanging up on 'Heather the computer voice' for months now, and just for ha ha's I listened to the entire message about lowering my interest rate.
I pressed 1 to speak to a live representitive, who when finding out that I wanted my phone number removed from their auto-dial harrassing phone calls, didn't say a word expect BEEP and hung up. He actually said BEEP. It wasnt a mechanical beep, it was the guy I had just spoke to.
That's a riot. I'm on the no call list too, so I'm going to report this number.

Recieved multiple calls. Reported them to the DNC List today. I waited for the prompt and pressed 1 to speak with someone. I asked tospeak with a manager, then wastold hewasvery busy. I said I didn't care and would wait, so I heardtheman who answered my call yell for "manager" a repeated number of times. When theso-called manager was on the line I told him that I was sick and tiredof thesepeoplecalling me and he responded with well mam' if your sick you should take some medicine. VERY RUDE PEOPLE!!! LEAVE US ALONE!!!! DEF a SCAM...

Got call yesterday 5:25 pm saying my car warranty needed to be renewed. Pressed 1 - knowing my car warranty had not expired. Got a male rep. He asked which make and model of my car. Told him my car warranty was not up and he hung up. Tried to call the number back but got a disconnect message. Tried calling Verizon and getting anyone from fraud - got transferred all over the place and never could report it. Using a company like Verizon (a bunch of idiots) makes it that much more frustrating.
Carol Lee 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
This seems to be your basic scam call.
Message plays saying it is urgent I push 1 to lower my interest rate on my credit card balance, of which I have none, or press 2 to cancel further calls.
When I hung up and called the number back they played a scratchy recording of a man mimicking the phone company message that the number is no longer in service.
ASJ 2011-06-06 20:45:11 Unknown
These calls started the moment I changed from a landline to a cell phone. And mine's a prepaid, so every time I pick up, it's costing me money! somebody needs to put these people in jail, where they belong.
I don't even have a credit card...
